I don't deny that attraction has a lot to do with it. It has almost everything to do with it when it comes to men. But, and I mean a big but, men fail with women because they attach way to much (thoughts and feelings) to a woman's attractiveness. They would have way more success if they could tell themselves that it's not that important (even though it is).

If you can look at a 10 and think of her as that 5 you wouldn't give the time of day, then you'd have a much easier time talking to her and being the man you truly are.

This is true. We do put too much importance on attractiveness, but to deny her attractiveness is to lie to yourself. Personally, attractiveness is the first thing I look at. The next step is to talk to her to see if X and Y fit together to equal Z. That's the way it should be, but I agree with you. Most guys don't try to find the other part of the equation. I'm going to apologize right now, cause i thought you were saying physical attractiveness wasnt important at all... And it is.

Yea, it's important to me. It's just the way we were made, but treating them as if they aren't, makes it so much easier and causes them to be intrigued because you're not like the other guys. Works like a charm.

Attraction for women is a smaller part of the equation.

evolution is a fact. macro evolution is a theory. one of the most well supported ones at that.

Please point me to some material that proves that is a fact. I'd like to see it. I'm not telling you that you're wrong. I'd just like to see it for myself.

Maybe she got depressed over a death in the family or something and began overeating to emotionally cope with the ordeal.

That or she became a pothead, got the food cravings as a result moreso than most potheads and voila chubby chicky lol.

Maybe she discovered Jaeger and her metabolism hit rock-fvcking bottom. Yes getting fat can be prevented and it can also be overcome(living proof right here). Keep tossing her bananas and rice cakes, maybe she'll get the point of cleaning up her diet, but I wouldn't rely on a chick 2 do that, like my ex.

Well, another theory is she went on some anti-depressant medications. I know she was going through a rough patch in her life.. those things are known to put on 20 lbs or so.

No. The theory of evolution is much more than "just a theory" in the common use of the term.

The word "theory" in normal usage means a guess or a hunch. But in science, a "theory" is a belief that has been generally accepted by scientists as a result of actual experimentation and/or observation.

Most biologists believe that evolution is more than a theory; it is an established fact. The earth's life forms have evolved over billions of years. Species of animals have been recently observed as continuing to evolve, both in the lab and field.

There remains debate about some details of past evolution. For example, there is a consensus that dinosaurs evolved and that birds evolved; there is some debate as to whether dinosaurs were the distant ancestors of birds.

Maybe humans are evolving into Whales. That would explain the fat phenominon.

Personally, I wouldn't want a g/f that's overweight not just because of her appearance. I find that there's a reason they're overweight in the first place... If I can make time to go to the gym 3 times a week while being a full time college student, and working full time, then so can she.

Very similar situation. A girl I knew freshman year was slim, tan, easily an HB9. I went to some campus even she was involved in the beggining of senior year and she didn't even look related to herself from 3 years ago.

What happened? She got comfortable. She got into a long-term relationship and, far from not taking care of herself, let herself go so completely that she about doubled in size. Sad.

It's a fact because why? Because you or others say it's so. Do you believe everything you hear? Prove it to me, otherwise, I will not be so easily moved to believe.

Theory - hypothesis: a tentative theory about the natural world; a concept that is not yet verified but that if true would explain certain facts or phenomena; "a scientific hypothesis that survives experimental testing becomes a scientific theory"

Anyway, we've gotten off the subject. OP, I apologize for your thread taking a wrong turn.

You might be right about anti-depressants causing her to gain weight because some do cause an increase in appetite.

Here's my theory .... Who really cares why ONE women in this world got fat, or 10 or a hundred. I'm not going to waste my VALUABLE time, wondering why a certain women from my past got fat. It could be a million different things. At the end of the day, she's a part of my past and not my future, so I'm not going to try and guess why. I'm going to focus on my life and my goals instead of wondering about something that has ABSOLUTELY no bearing on my life.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

There are a lot of women I see daily that have great potentials of becoming 8s or 9s only if they lose 30-40 pounds. I'm tempted to start a Fitness Bootcamp to train the fatties to become Victoria Secret's models and enjoy the fruits of my labour. :p Kinda like a HB Farm Project. Reckon I could get some government grant to get it going?

I don't care, talk about whatever the hell you want.

As for the whales this thread was about, these overweight women still have AFC's throwing themselves at their feet. So they will never change.

Most women struggle with weight. Most of my girl friends have fluctuated over the years, from biggies to more fit, back to being big, back to being more fit.

It is a huge, huge thing for most women.

It has made me appreciate being a tiny skinny chick, whereas I used to be very insecure about it. I definately don't want to go through what I see them go through. Every day eating choices are like going to war for them. Me? I order whatever I want, however I want, whenever I want. I am BLESSED.
