Rusty Return to the Game!

So here's a funny/ironic story from Thursday night. I was really in a rush to get to a party that night, and then to go out and pick up afterwards later in the evening. So, part of my prep is to make sure I'm stocked with condoms.

I'm looking around for the health section, and as I walk by, a very pretty brunette stares at me. Now, in this area, cold approach game basically doesn't exist, so I keep on walking.

It takes me a long time, but I finally find the health/contraceptives section. The same brunette girl actually follows me and finds me and stands about five feet away as I shop for condoms, lol. She just stands there, staring at the wall, no hurry to buy anything, just waiting for me to pick her up. I bail, don't wanna be late for my night out, right?!?

So, I'm getting ready to put in a long night of 6+ hrs to pick up a girl; instead, a girl steps to me making the whole outing unnecessary, yet I still don't make a move.

I take it you are driving out of town? I am finding it's a necessity. There are basically only two places which have any potential locally. They cannot be used for practicing pickup however. There just aren't enough open sets. Maybe one per hour for two or three hours in each venue.

As far as the most attractive girls who show up, there is a serious issue there. They are dragging around 3-4 guys each who each know them; one of them is a boyfriend, the other two want to be.

The ratio is atleast 4:1 male to female; a majority of the females are already there with a boyfriend/husband or with 3-4 orbiter males.

I've got to expand my territory to make this work. I can check out the local nightscene maybe a couple X a month.

What I am realising is that I am going to need to spread the net a bit rather than fishing the same areas.

I have being hovering locally with some success but think I need to move out of town a bit.
I guess it's trial and error and also the type of girls you are looking for is a factor. I'm not really looking for girls in their 20s (as I am in my 40's)...so There needs to be a slightly older crowd.
Let's see what happens next weekend.

I ran into a 'top level' pickup guy and saw the girls he was gaming. He was gaming a cute girl, maybe a 6 or a 7. I saw her earlier. She was a bit short and a little overweight, but cute and wearing a ton of makeup and ready to party.

Judging by his body language, he had absolutely no interest in any other girl, or in anyone else in the room, for that matter. He had made his choice, and was totally invested in her for the night. I saw him leave with the girl, so good for him.

It's an important lesson: do you want to go home with a cute girl who wants to party, or do you want to be super-selective and go home with rosie palms?

In the real world of pickup, guys who are successful in picking up are not picking up dimes on a consistent basis, or ever at all. But they are picking up lots of nickels and change, which is better than leaving empty handed.
