There was heavy rain all night long, and this morning at 9:30 I drove gf to work, and on my way encountered several columns of military equipment. Radio/radar, anti aircraft lights. I did not see anti aircraft machine guns, cruise missiles, nor rockets. But then again, I can't know what moved here at night, and then again missiles could be launched from anywhere, they don't have to be in the city.

This kind of movement is not normal.

I took this picture of a military UAZ with an anti aircraft light on it. There was two of them. Picture don't show, but there is another one in front of him, and they were waiting for a ZIL with radar/radio stuff on it. It is just 3 vehicles, on my way as I drove I saw dozens of columns, mostly ZILs with radar/radio equipment. This machinery usually requires anti aircraft missiles and machine guns.

A few days earlier I saw some warships in the sea moving towards Turkey.

Here is the pic. http://i41.tinypic.com/2r6o5fo.jpg

3 thoughts come to mind mind.

A) They will fire back when rockets fall on Syria.
B) They will put troops and equipment on the ground into Syria.
C) It is a political move to show Russia is firm and ready, and will respond if needed.

For you conspiracy nutz out there, that remember Albert Pike and 3 world wars, this is possibly it. At least time table is right.

Ya duuuuuuuuuuuuudeeeeeeeeee, it's a light on a **** ride. There is no 15,000 watt stereo on that thing. It's just a big flash light. It is design to light up flying aircraft so it can be shot down.

I seen a lot of stuff drive south this day, mostly radio and radar stuff.

Maybe they were putting that thing in a museum where it belongs. If C-130's were dropping paratroopers from a few hundred feet up, I could see how it would be useful, but that's about it. Long-range and high-flying air support would take out any truck on the ground long before they put troops in range of a flashlight. Sending old junky equipment strengthens the hypothesis that it is all just for show.

Fighting Syria is the dumbest thing America could have done, they are back by not only Russia, but also china and Iran.

This country is done for, most of you prepare to be slaves, die, or live in extreme proverty.

Make no mistake, this is all about oil. Or in this case, natural gas.

The saudis and Qatar want a pipeline to go through syria and iran to sell gas to Europe.

They asked them a few years ago, and they said no. Syria is backed by Russia, who currently sells gas to Europe (from central Asia.)

NO WAY Russia is going to sit around and let Uncle Sam mess with it's livelihood.

The Saudis also, more or less threatened Russia recently regarding the olympics. They basically said "let the pipeline go through Syria, and we'll keep our terrorists calm during the olympics."

Reports have indicated that the Saudis were the ones behind the gas attack, and supplied the REBELS so they could blame Assad.

ALSO, the petrodollar may be at risk. The Saudis agreed years ago to only sell oil for dollars, in exchange for protection. So they've got some leverage against the U.S. They start selling oil for gold, or rubles or yuan, and the dollar is toast.

It's been reported that the U.S. is getting involved in Syria at the Saudi's request. Kerry even recently stated that the Saudis said they'd pay for the whole thing.

China may rattle some sabers, but if they go to war with U.S., then their economy will go up in smoke, since U.S. and Europe are their biggest customers.

Throw Israel into the mix, and this has "not gonna end well" written all over it.

It's not like WWII where there were good guys and bad guys (allegedly).

WWIII is where EVERYBODY is a bad guy, and all the crooked gangsters are fighting over the remaining scraps before the world economy implodes.

It's gonna get ugly.

True dat.... everyone is fighting for a piece of the resources in the middle east. WWIII is an eventuality whether it's in 5 years or 50 years.

But perhaps WWIII won't be an all out war that's fought with conventional ground troops. Most likely it'll be fought with sabotage, espionage, economic manipulation, food supply manipulation, etc....

Ya, such much equipment went south though. Lights, radar, radio, S400, tanks. WTF you need tanks for? WTF you need lights for? I can understand radar and radio and S400 missiles. But lights and tanks? If you get the map out, Sochi is on the other side of Turkey, between is Black sea.

BTW; lights can not be outdated. Cuz light is a light. The vehicle it was on is an UAZ, it is more 4x4 able than a military hummer, also more durable. Military hummers break too often because of independent suspension, you need solid axles in the off road. Not to mention that it is dirt cheap, for a price of one hummer you could buy 5 UAZ vehicles and tune them on what's left. Plus much more fuel efficient, which plays a giant role in the supply line strategy.

I went on inforwars.com and it's nuke nuke nuke nuke nuke, I got sick reading it.

Let's focus on possible developments please.

So the United States is going to bomb Syria..............I think most of us don't have illusions about it.

How will Russia respond? Let's brain storm some scenarios please.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

The light still works as a light. But every military thing in the sky is a lot faster and farther away now. Like I said, it would work for large low-flying targets like c-130s doing paratrooper drops. But it's useless against jets and missiles. And no one is dropping paratroopers on Russia any time soon. They have massive amounts of similar Cold War era equipment. A lot of it might not work very well any more, but it's still useful as a display of force.

And that's not to say that Russia doesn't have effective weapons. I just doubt that they are the same weapons as the ones they let the world see.

If humanitarian reasons were enough to intervene in a sovereign nation’s affairs, why aren’t we attacking North Korea or China? You know the answer. The Russians and Chinese possess formidable weapons technology and the willingness to use them. The Chinese have an overwhelming cyber-attack capability. So too, they possess cutting edge satellite-killing orbital weapons and space-based weapons platforms. Of interest, some Chinese satellites have altered orbits recently amazing and concerning US defense experts.

The Chinese have also perfected super-sonic, ship-killing missiles that even US aircraft carriers can’t evade or defend against. The Russians have similar anti-ship missile capability, top-notch anti-aircraft and anti-missile systems combined with the most advanced military aircraft in the world. They’ve also developed a super-cavitating torpedo that creates a gas bubble in front of the fired torpedo, which allows for much greater speed than a conventional torpedo. Notice a pattern here? Speed kills in the combat environment.

The US currently has no known defense against these weapons. Our current anti-missile systems can’t lock onto and destroy these Russian and Chinese missiles. They’re too fast. We have had some success with prototype laser missile interceptors but nothing’s ready to be deployed. Thus, the US Navy is extraordinarily vulnerable to such attacks.
man US don't have a chance man....

Russia is preparing for potential skirmishes but thats definitely not the equipment they plan to use...unless of course they expect engage some junkyard warfare...

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Yes. Do you know why, feminism and homos in the USA aside? Russia is big and largely unpopulated, something like 1000 square kilometers per 1 human being. I can hide and live off land if something big happens, like WW3 or global food supply shortage.

.22 rounds?
Try RPG-7 and Igla ground-to-air missiles.
You'd pile that stuff in USA in your basement, so that cops could confiscate it when new laws come out. We just bury it in the woods.
