rough day....fists were flung

Hey ppl, got a problem on my hands. I just got home not long ago, and another, smaller guy started gettin physical in my driveway.... he sucker punched me 3 times in the 'facial-area':box: . Only, he has been tryin 2 fight me for over a few weeks now, and i havent given him a chance. now there was a busload of kids parked there at the time, and i didnt fight back, for a reason: Im a good acedemic student, and i dont want to spoil that. I intend on getting a universaty degree, and should i have taken him down, i would probably had a police record, thus causing me to not get accepted into uni.
Now, i called the police, and told them the story, and they would be stopping by tomorrow afternoon for a statement. Only thing is, i am not a violent person, and the cruser may not be there when i get home (in case this moron wants to have round 2). If the police arnt there at that time, and this kid gets off the bus again, what should i do? ( i could probably punch him out, but i REALLY dont want to. This would be a LAST resort, which i still probably wouldnt do.)
please dont just tell me 2 kick his ass....its not that simple unfortunatly .

any advice is greatly appreciated.

Just because you arent a violent person doesent mean you shouldnt defend yourself. Kick the **** out of him. Be a man and stand up for yourself.

don't be anybodys biach. it's your life, and don't let anybody fvck with it.

If the guy trows a first punch, hit him right back....you alredy talked to the cops, and your defending your self...so you probably won't get charged.

I used to be like that too. Back in the day (grade 5) I used to let everybody beat me up, i just couldn't bring my self to hit them.

I wish they would try now.

thankz for the support. yea, self defense would be key. Not being defensive or anything, but i dont have a lack of a backbone, and nobody really picks on me, just this oddball. Im 5' 11", 215lb. Im not scrawny. I was just......."dumbfounded" i guess you'd call it....lol. I'v never been in a situation like this b4. But yea, ill bring the heat should his punk try this stunt again. i spose if he comes back i could get him for trespassing too. lol. Thing is, he caught me off guard, cause i wasnt expecting this at all. I also find it comical that i can get someone to the point of violence without lifting a finger to the dude. Everyone else doesnt have a problem with me......strange.

Also keep in mind that you'd have a bus full of witnesses who say it's self defence if you kick his ass :trouble:

i have no idea why he's all up in my face... perhaps because every attempt he's ever made to agress me, i have verbally turned around on him or acted like i didnt care, so the class thought he looked like an idiot maybe??? not sure. all i know is, whenever he gets a need for attention, i shrugged him off. lol actually, just this evining 2 guys and a girl called me up 2 see how i was. I told em i was fine, which is completely true. They said they all 'got my back' lol. So at least i have some support, eh? lol. One of the guys specifically told me that the rest of tha guys on the bus dont like him either, and some of them have it in for that dumbass. That, and he was sure if i could get a hold of him, it's all over. (like i said, im a burly dude, lol.) The aggressor guy was aiming to give me a black eye i do believe, but was unsuccessful . Come to think of it.... i'd heave caution to the wind next time. Get a hold of his collar, and a good crunch sound comming from his nose would be in order. "I'll make your face beat up my fists" -lol

yea, im going way 2 lenient on this dude... i could damage him, why dont i? Like you said, self defense
