The Roosh forums had some good people on it for a while. Scotian lined a lot of ppl up with jobs, VP was always available to hang out (wherever he was in the world), a lot of guys were down to meetup and that's generally what we did. The community was a bit closer-knit back then. 10 years on, you try and get together with the new blood, and they're more likely to p1ss themselves scared and flake. I don't understand what's happening with young people today, they're lonely for a reason, they're all anti-social, phone addicted, losers. After coming home to Canada, I've noticed that the majority of guys act this way. Proof of concept: I just finished talking to a guy in a fkin comic shop about magic cards for 10 minutes. He played Commander and wanted to tell me all about it. I said, hey lets hangout and play.

"uuuummm....uhhhh... " looks down at his phone "uuuuh" I gotta go.

WTF, I didn't ask to svck your d1ck. My wife is standing right beside me ffs.

When I'm abroad and I see someone playing MTG, I'm like hey you play, here's my number, 3 seconds later its done and you've got a new friend to bring to the table. One thing that RvF ppl never worried about was GETTING women. You didn't meetup to go and sarge or any of that bs. You were meeting up with men who had already completed that part of their life and they were looking to meet other guys abroad and share some hobbies, play golf or video games, hang out at nightclubs or help them get settled in a new place.This dynamic is completely lost on the new generation. That new forum is filled to the brim with god pill addicts. After every post they have to praise Jesus and speak in tongues.

Thank the single mother and feminist epidemic of western society. I see a lot of guys who act like this, too. A whole lot of them. And because they arent socially calibrated, they come off as creepy which only separates men and women even more. Not that the women aren't any better, but it's very easy to be a woman compared to a man so women don't have it as hard being "inadequate".

The Roosh site and chateau heartiste blog were heavily influenced on here by Rollo.

Rollo did cite Roosh and Heartiste in the past for things. I'm not sure of the timeline if Rollo was first. Rollo is over a decade older than Roosh. Roosh started writing on the internet at a younger age than Rollo.

I always got the feeling that Roosh would have happened with or without those other guys. Can't prove that, but he seemed to be the deeper thinker of the three even if he sometimes took the easy way out for clicks.

I don't remember the precise timeline, but I vaguely remember Heartiste/Roissy and Roosh blogs being around in 2007 at least, while Rollo was still posting a lot here. That is, Rollo was probably posting first but on Sosuave. Subsequently Rollo started his blog (which took a lot of his content from SS early on and expanded it). Eventually Rollo started referring to the "Three R's." I never read/heard the other two call themselves that and only occasionally did Roissy or Roosh acknowledge other writers (eg Ya Really). Rollo also was a frequent commenter on Roissy posts and sometimes Roosh's (until the two had it out).

Rollo once wrote a post based on the book of Genesis describing the manosphere in an attempt to elevate himself further. That was when I knew things were about to jump the shark - when you start telling and believing creation myths about yourself. But I'll say this for Rollo, he didn't end up balls deep in white supremacy like other two. Seems like he watched the other two crash and burn and took note.

Anyway some of my memories may be off here.

Rollo came after Roosh and Rooisy however Rollo has had far more success because of him being active on YouTube and not being to shock value like Roosh (or Rooisy). People forget before Andrew Tate Roosh V was getting banned from Countries!!! Also IMO Roosh did it in an era where it mattered and guys were hungry to succeed this new era is for Keyboard jocky's and youtube chat champions who most don't want to win and get their jollies of seeing some thot get berated on a podcast it makes money but any OG in the space wouldn't have engaged in this type of situation 10 years ago

This new generation of men is soft hence onlyfans is a thing and AI girlfriends is a thing as well 10 years ago those things were fringe or niche communities at best, that tells you a lot about the state of modern things
