Master Don Juan
I've already started my journey and have left this forum, but like I said I'll lurk around here and there. I've already had a few encounters that might be notable but those don't matter, I want to share the ones that people can learn from and improve themselves upon.
I had to print something out for a class so I headed toward the Library to use their computer/printer. I had to be quick as I was doing this right before class. When I arrived at the Library, it was almost filled up with a class. A fellow classmate had just gotten done printing out their assignment and she gestured she could use the computer she was using.
So as I sit down, I tell the kid waiting for the computer that I needed to print out something real quick and that it will only take a second. He agree's and proceeds to chat with his group(of 4 people). After some tinkering, the internet was down for some reason. Then, the girl in the group (with multiple red flags on first glance) then got up and told the teacher that they needed the computer I was using regardless of what the guy and I had told her that it would only be a second. :trouble:
After a quick restart the teacher arrives next to me:
If you really don't like something someone is doing or want something specifically. Do it yourself, don't have other people do it for you and hide behind them like this teacher did. We are men, we are direct firm and go after what we want no matter the obstacles. I don't know who this teacher is but I've already lost all respect for her.

This was probably the most cowardly thing I've ever seen from an adult so far. She literally told someone of "Higher Power" to do something she could not. I would understand If I was being unreasonable or if this was a threatening situation, but none of these were the case.Teacher: "This group needs this computer, go use this other one." She points somewhere nearby.
I looked up from my chair and raised my hand and said in an assertive polite manner:
"I will only be a second, I need to print something out but the internet seems to be down."
She then had a surprised look on her face and walked away. Then the two guys next to me told me that "I shouldn't have done that." And I was thinking in my head, done what? Standing up for myself?
She then comes back with the librarian:
Librarian: "You need to let this class use the computer, and don't be rude toward a teacher."
I was confused at the last part, but then I looked back at the teacher. She was practically hiding behind the librarian. I realized the situation and did my best to react calmly.
Me: "I wasn't being rude I was simply telling her that the internet was down and that I only needed a second." I then got up and left because the internet was down.
