How about being open about the algorithm? How about actually ditching the algorithm? How about being satisfied with just advertising money instead of trying to financially milk (especially) men dry to the last drop?

I wonder how AI gonna help a man to become more attractive to women..they make it sound like the initial problem is that men do get traction but are unable to communicate with women. The REAL problem is that nobody knows how the algorithm works and that they want you to pay 30 bucks per month per app( and there are like 4 big apps so that's 120 bucks per month!!)

Fascinating to watch. Do you guys think this will be the "revolutionary change " that Matchgroup claims it will be?

come on... dating apps are pimps. expect it that way. maybe its love instead of love, but its still man in the middle.

very old business model.

maybe its less expensive than in person, date, spend, try again.

I can totally see how match group will use take advantage of ai and use it for profit.
There will be different price packages.
Some packages will have hints that you have to pay for that will guide you through messages or profile corrections.
Other packages will include ai bots having conversations for you with minimal user input.

Other possible idea's would be grouping matches in pools and linking them to events.
Women would be linked to events by ai notifications and user input.
Men would be linked to these women based on common zip codes and interests. And then the AI bot will create openings for men to use.
It would go something like this: "Elizabeth needs a date for X venue on Friday, would you be interested? Answer: Yes/No
Answering yes would have an auto-generated text reply that would be sent to her.
Answering no would give you another match with a different event.
"Lisa wants to go to X but can't find a date, would you be interested? Yes/No"

There's a lot of app fatigue out there. Majority of men are being virtually ignored on them and are unhappy. It's upsetting to get few matches, get ghosted in chats, and have 1-2 dates that have no sex and no development of an extended relationship.

Women love the attention that they get on swipe apps and enjoy sex with attractive men. They don't enjoy not securing commitments from the top tier attractive men. Eventually, they absorb psychological damage from riding the penis carousel without securing commitments.

The top tier men enjoy having a lot of sex with different women from them.

Match Group and Bumble are seeing the discontent through their stock prices being terrible right now.

If there's no barrier to creating a dating app, I wouldn't mind spending the time to make one with zero algorithm. Just literally swipe if you like someone and if you both like each other, it's a match. That would put all these other apps out of business.

If I sat on the board of directors for Match Group, I would insist they take their resources and invest in AI for sex dolls.

AI for dating apps will revolutionize the world about like electric cars has.

Sex dolls would basically render women obsolete. Interesting stuff.

Imagine a doll that could rearrange the contours of it's face to become anyone you wanted, with possibly fixed body attributes. Doll could make rhythmic motions like bouncing up and down, back and forth, etc etc. Men would just drop out of society.

this is so true. online banking has made banking easier... online shopping has made shopping easier... online stock programs have made buying stocks easier.

but online dating have only made dating HARDER for most people (men and women). this should not be the case, but it is because of greed. the apps don't really care about getting compatible people together.

network effects... also society is telling women that there's always more fish in the sea. ahhh...no... also, society is telling average women that they are better than average men... the apps are NOT trying to fight this concept but are instead trying to ride the coat tails to their detriment. no AI will ever fix this. the company needs to do a 180.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.
