I went to the website and I think no matter how good his methods are, I think the only way I'd pay nearly a grand for a "bootcamp" and 300 dollars for some DVDs is if I was super ugly, pareplegic, and rich. I'm none of the three so I'm alright with finding out how to seduce a girl without sacrificing the money i have to support my marijuana addiction(costs me about 2 grand a month).

what's up everybody. i have both the e-book and the dvd's. i'm familiar with david d's material and mystery condradicts some of david d's ideas:

-DD advises getting email while MM is against it
-DD advises staying away from touching initially while MM is all for it
-"What do you do?" a girl asks. DD advises to use C/F answers like "ass model" and to continue giving C/F answers if she presses you. MM thinks this is lame and suggests to actually be up front with this question
-while DD places emhasis on inner game and confidence, MM has a good point by saying that it's all about competence, being prepared and knowing what to do, rather than confidence

The DD e-book has great info and if you get his other programs, you'll definitely gain greater insight to DD's teachings. The MM e- book also has great info., but you won't learn a significant amount more if you buy the DVD's. I felt that the DVD's only helped lessen the amount of time it'd take to have a good understanding of the MysteryMethod.
$300 is a lot of cash to spend on a program. As you watch the program, it's obvious that they rushed the production of these DVD's and I'm sure my fellow Sosuave comrades know what I'm talking about. I don't blame them though. With the success of Strauss's book, of course a bunch of peeps out there want to see what MM is about. I spent the $300 because i have this mentality that as long as i learn a few things that'll make me that much sharper, it'll be worth it. If you have cash to burn, I'd recommend buying the DVD's. But if you're tight with cash, stick with the e-book.
I think most people's question, myself included, is how does Mystery's DVDs compare to the presentations HE HIMSELF gives on DYD products.

For example, DYD offers an Approach DVD set that features Mystery, Tyler Durden and a bunch of the other dating gurus. I myself have thought about picking up these DVDs because David D. offers a payment plan and Mystery IS ON IT.

Has anyone actually seen the DYD stuff where Mystery presents his material and seen the Mystery DVDs to give a comparison?

I was at the DYD Mastery taping here in LA, and that is how I was sold on Mystery Method. On that DVD program, and on the Body Language program, Mystery is a guest speaker, and I believe the Approaching Women program.

He goes into a lot more detail in the DYD presentations than he does on his own DVD program. The only drawback is that in the DYD tapings, he only had 60-90 minutes to speak, so he only covered certain stages, in specifics, of his 9 stage method. Only a few of the 9 steps, but what was featued was longer and much more detailed than the MM discs.

On his MM DVD's, he covers the entire method, with examples, but does not go into as much detail as he did explaining the partial presentation, with details and explanations, in the DYD seminar. His DVD program is very condensed, a lot of techniques, methods, ideas, yet not all explain with too much detail. It assumes that the viewer already has a lot of the basics handled. He edited each disc to be roughly over an hour. This program could have been 2 hours per disc, and ended being 10+ hours of great material, a much better value.

I was watching the new DVD's with a female friend of mine, and she pointed out right away that he explained his method better at the David D. seminar than on his edited program. But I pointed out that the MM DVD's do cover everything, just not in as much detail. Great 5+ hours of great stuff though. Definitely worth getting. Hope this helps you guys out.
