You just answered your own question. As a man that went through a divorce and then a called off engagement, you have to realize that the 9 months wasnt totally wasted and at least you arent going to marry this chick and go through something even more devastating later down the road.
You got steady sex while in the relationship. You learned what to look for, red flag wise, so you can better screen out trash in the future. You hopefully learned that when things start down a bad path with a woman you should be ejecting yourself from the situation instead of trying to rationalize it. Use logic over emotion.
Now put your big boy pants on, go out with these other chicks and have fun. Dont look for anything super serious in attempt to replace the bad relationship you just got out of.
