watch some sitcoms, anything you can get your hands on thats actually interesting/funny to you.

Im pretty random, thats what usually how I make people laugh, ****y comedy too, but theres always styles that suit you well, for example I cant do the "stop running after me" kind of line as well as the "nice hair, itd look better clean" kind of line, find what suits you better.

Okay im considered to be one of the funniest guys at my school so I think I can help you on this one. Humor comes from within and if you're going to be funny you're going to need change your attitude and project yourself as a fun person with lots of "good times" The most important thing that you need to do is let go of your ego and fear of conesquences and never be afraid to do or say something that you think is funny Always look for the funny side of life and make yourself a student of comedy. Watch funny movies, stand up comedy and observe funny people. Gather things from these sources and add your unique personality to the mix and you will be funny. Never act retarted or overdo being funny. Nobody likes someone who's funny all the time and you need to know when to be serious, you can pick up on when to be serious by peoples moods, but you never have to completly give up your sense of humor just restrain it a little. Also if you have bad taste in humor and you do stuff thats not funny it will backfire and noone will want to be around you. People like to be around people who make them feel good and contain aspects of their personality which they themselves lack, so be careful to only do stuff thats really funny. Being funny is an artform and its hard to explain all of it in one article, I don't know any books about humor but I think it would be a good idea to go to amazon.com and read reviews of books about humor.

If you can find it (I think its on a few p2p networks as well as in bookstores) get Comedy Writing Secrets by Melvin Helitzer. Its a nightmare to find, but an awesome book.
