Oh well, it looks like a little late right?
I have my reasons... been studying like crazy these last weeks...

Well my long-lost brother, I feel you.
I've been feeling it for a while.
I'm not sure if you read my post "I'm One", if you haven't please read it... you'll identify with it...

We're suffering a polarity reversal... women are leading and men are following...
That's why I say that I'm one... because, among other things, I do my actions for myself and for my values, not to please women.

The young men from our age are enslaved to women !!
Think about it, in the last decade, you don't see teenagers take part in political events, in social movements...

In my country, the teenagers and the university students went out to the streets to demand the impeachment of the current president 11 years ago... nowadays, I can't even imagine something like that... when there's public manifestation, the teenagers go to ditch classes or to mack girls...

There's no love for art... no love for classical music... no love for literature and philosophy.
Go around telling your classmates that you like Plato and Socrates and they'll laugh at you !!

There's no general culture. The men population has managed to become as empty and as culture-less as women used to be.

That's why we see tv shows like Sex and the City being praised by the critics. That's why everyone loves to watch "Friends".
Everyone is buying into this feminine-based society.

Everyone is trying to be like the nice-guy or the a$$-hole. None like the man.
You're fortunate to be in a strong country... here in Brazil, everyone's giving up their own identity and thinking that it is awesome to buy into any **** that comes from anywhere on this earth... Soccer, samba and other brazilian trademarks are in a state of lethargy...

It's hard, very likely to happen... but me must ignite the spark... give the first step... I'm one, you're one, and among us there are other few ones... but together we are strong. Even though we're thousands of miles apart, our strength is bringing us closer each and every day.

I see the beauty of your ideals, and I'm taking side with you.

" You can fight, fight without ever winning, but NEVER, EVER, win, win WITHOUT a fight... " - Rush - Resist

Wow, this thread is so good that it gave me a charge of adrenaline and I got a boner from it. Maybe not the boner but this is truly inspirational material.

There's no general culture. The men population has managed to become as empty and as culture-less as women used to be.
True. All of my friends are ambition-less. I however have always had a creative mind, even if it meant that it was for my eyes only. Currently in some of my spare time, I am writing a novel. I'm not expecting it to be that great but just seeing the finished project makes it all the worth while. Same goes for my rap CD. Turns out my microphone didn't work and studio time was a tad more expensive for my tastes but I wrote over 50 songs. I look back on that notebook and enjoy reading it.

My friends wanted me to watch baseball. I told them I was busy working on an art project. They asked if it was for class and I told them no, I'm doing it for fun. They all laughed and said that I was wasting my time. If you ask me, watching baseball for hours on end is the only waste of time but I'm not going to judge.

Most people today have absolutely no hobbies and just float through life doing the bare minimum, just to get by. The rest of the time, they waste on watching TV, movies, or playing video games (unless you got friends over or maybe your gf likes video games [one of my ex girlfriends owned a PS2 and she was hot too, a definite plus])

So sad that in the grand scheme of society, people have accomplished very little to forward our progress outside of technology.

We're suffering a polarity reversal... women are leading and men are following...
The reason why is because we have allowed them to. Feminism meant jack squat until millions of metrosexual men got the culture shock and became a slave to womankind. Like the KKK and Neo Nazis. They protest and rally as much as feminists do but people just shrug them off as jokes and the society has not been dominated by the KKK or any other groups of its kind.

Society now has it ingrained where women have the key to society. They whine about a glass ceiling so we promote scores of women who have worked half as long as their male counterparts who hold similar positions. Back in the day, women just wanted equality. It took them a while but they got it. I don't knock on this because I felt that women not voting was ridiculous as well as beating women.

However women wanted more. In the thousands of years of how things were, in just a couple of decades, worldwide society gave women rights that weren't even conceived centuries ago. A huge rush, I'm sure so they tried to get more and more rights and they did. This included the ability to pretty much work outside the home if she pleased (which I agree with, we should have free will) With all these new rights coming in, women asked for more and more.

Soon it became to the point where it wasn't good enough where women could be at an equal standing with men, they have to control society. Worthless men agreed because they were afraid that they wouldn't get any poon if they disagreed.

That's why I say that I'm one... because, among other things, I do my actions for myself and for my values, not to please women.
I do this as well. Those who do not are mere bags of flesh. They exist but are not living. They are slaves to the ambitionless society. They don't want to try to achieve anymore than the bare minimum and just fritter the time away on useless endevours.

Think about it.

When we were all 5 or 6 year olds, we all wanted to the President or an astronaut or someone of high power like a CEO. After a while it was downgraded into someone who just went to college, marry early and raise a family. Now its basically to see who can chug the most beer in a minute (I've seen this done). Goals have been compromised.

I tell all my friends that I want to own my own graphic design firm, my own record label, and play a major role in a film studio like a co-producer. Quite a bit but these are all my passions. Most have laughed at me, insisting I will be a 9-5 cubicle jockey who will settle with a mediocre wife, get laid once a week, and have a couple of kids.

I dread this every night. I even had nightmares about this lifestyle. I can tell that I have a fire inside me and will be unleashed. While I will do what I want to do in life, my friends will marry fat wives and sit on their asses drinking Miller High Life and watching football as their lives dwindle away.

Live your lives because you have one life to live.
