"Society is one vast conspiracy for carving one into the kind of statue likes, and then placing it in the most convenient niche it has."

Randolph Bourne

Before I begin with the body of this post... I want to say something that comes from the deepest, and darkest regions of my heart. Some of you guys may not understand why I am so fervent about this place... so perhaps I should explain it. I have it in old journals, new journals... but most of all memories of things that will forever be scorched into my brain. You do cannot even begin to understand just how much of an emotional wreck of a loser I was throughout most of high school. Honestly... if it was not for this link, this place, these people... I am not sure what I would be... if I was even alive at all. So when I say this place means a great deal to me... I mean it. And this evolution that has started is not some sort of joke to me. This is something I have thought about for years now... and finally it appears to be coming into fruition. Guys... no... Men... it's time to kick this **** up... Game On

The Matrix: Reloaded

Okay... *cracks knuckles* now that the prelude is out of the way, allow me to talk about today's topic. I want you to look up at that quote and read it... and then when you are finished I want you to read it again. Society has successfully managed to carve a very nice statute out of men, and it is displayed everywhere around us on a daily basis... sadly, we have done nothing to mildly change that. Women will say that they are protrayed in a derogotory manner in the media... but for every Budweiser catfight girls commercial, there is three Secret commercials saying how the deodorant is "Strong enough for a man... but made for a woman." For every "video girl" for the latest rap song, there is a movie, television network (et al Lifetime Television for Women, Oxygen and Women's Entertainment) showing women in empowering positions... as dependable, independent, and competent thinkers.

The list continues... as much as women ***** about things like the catfight girls commercial (which Budweiser shorten by taking out the "let's make out" part due to protesting) men on far too many occasions get the short end of the stick... and as "men" it is our job to take it... and like it. One day gentlemen... I want you to watch television and check to see just how many times men are portrayed in a stereotypical fashion in the media... I am sure the results will not surprise you. Do not get me wrong... I like football, couches, and half naked, fully naked... hell... even fully clothed sexy women like the next man, and the man next to him... but I remember a time when being a man meant you where proficient in the arts, sciences, carpentry, diplomacy, and even seduction. The "Renaissance" man of the 16th century is seemingly long gone, and has been replaced by "Renaissance" women... until now of course.

Take a look into your history book and simply marvel at what the men of various time periods managed to accomplish. Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Christopher Columbus, William Shakespeare, Ludwig Von Beethoven... I could continue this list until I ran out of space. These men and countless others lived lives that women (even now) could never touch... because they lived in a world that did not have examples... they were the examples. I am sure that these men drunk beer, engage in plenty of intercourse with the opposite sex (and wanted and thought about it as much as we do) and probably engage in all sorts of debaucheries much like we men do now. The main difference between these men and us... is these men used the societies that they lived in to work for them... we instead opt to work in the socities that we live in... until now of course.

The men of that time period did not live by half of the limits and constraits that we live by today. They were men by how they lived their lives and what they did... not what they wore. They weren't less of a man if they dressed up or were "metrosexual" as we call it (something that has been flamed on this board over and over again). If he was the best swordsmen in the country, it wouldn't matter if he walked around in a kilt... no one would **** with him. Men... stop judging each other by how another man looks, or dresses... am I supporting going out and getting manicures... no? I am merely pointing out that what makes a man is personality... his self-esteem, his self worth, his mentality... that's what makes him a man. I have seen some of the most "rugged looking" guys be the biggest pussies on the inside. And then you have someone like me... who people call a "pretty boy" but is as tough as nails. And in spite of my appearance, women treat me with the respect that a man deserve... sometimes too much respect.

Again... am I recommending you live like me... certainly not, I have a hard time getting around on this planet at times. However... what I am saying to you men is that in order to start this revelution of evolution, we must first break down all of those boundraries or "niches" that society has placed us in. Women can do whatever they want to (for the most part) men however, have these strict roles and rules that we have to follow... which do nothing but confine us and keep us from growing. Start pushing those boundraries that society has placed on us. Most importantly... begin to break the stereotypes. Let us start following the examples of these great men, and instead of drinking beer and skirt chasing all day (instead... save it for the weekends ;)) let us start doing more reading, studying the arts and sciences... working on philosophy... being well rounded. But most importantly... gentlemen... let us start being men again, instead of some convenient niche.

I don't know about any of the other members on this board, but I certainly spend most of my time doing the things I like and not what other people want to do. I hardly worry about women and material things that don't matter to me.

Whenever I have some free time, I spend it doing things like carveboarding, or going to the beach, or juggling, or even driving around listening to guitar songs. These are the types of things that I like to do. I certainly don't care if people are making fun of me or mocking the things that I enjoy. If I enjoy them, nothing can stop me from doing them.

Everyday that I go to school, I see everyone around dressing the same...especially the so-called "men". I don't understand why everyone tries to be the same, it seems like one of the "niche's" you speak of...fashion. I dress the way that I like. Most of the time it's classy looking apparel. To tell the truth, I get a lot of compliments from girls on what i wear compared to a lot of my guy freinds who conform to the fashion.

Great post Matrix, it really opened my eyes a bit more.

Norway,
Im not sure where to begin, but I can tell you this. I have never, ever in my life been as mad as when I realished the truth about our soceity today. Then I looked at what made me angry and realised that I could go around being agry and frustrated about the way things are, or try to change them.

Like I said in another post: We should not go with the flow, neither should we go against it, we should be the ones deciding where the flow goes.
As I have realised that soceity's rules no longer holds much freedom or space for being a man I have made my own rules in this world. I carve out my own destiny on lifes tablet.

Like Matrix the basis of your soceity today has bugged me a long time, but he has been more aware of what is going on than me.
To me it was more of a feeling, some hidden knowledge that something was not right, so thank you both Matrix and Cloud-uk for bringing this into the light.

To speak of our lost identity as males, where is our rites of passage, where is our sense of honor, and why does soceity treat us like we are "one for each dime" while smart outgoing girls are "one in a million". Now dont get me wrong, I dont think that girls should be held back in anyway, the deserve the status they have today. Why? Beacuse they outwitted us, they beat us at our own game.

It is common knowledge for any history student that when an "empire" has gotten to comfortable with their reign, grown weary of conquest, and thinking themselfs invincible they are overtrown. Like the great empires of old, we have lost our power, our sense of direction, our purpose.

I am glad to know that I am not the only one feeling like a stranger in his own land. For we have almost become outcasts.
Our old place in this world is lost, and will be for a long time, so therefore we must make ourselves a new path to walk on. We cannot fight the female system in our everyday life, but we can adapt, we can learn, we can evolve. And when we have evolved, we will become a force as the world has never seen.

It is allready established that masculinity is a power, a power to sculp, to build, to make new ideas. We are made for ingenuity. As men it is our birthright to make these claims at the world. To change our future, "to be all you can be".

We have once again eaten the apple the was given by a women, and again we pay the price. The snake is society/feminisme and that snake has played us for the last time.

I will NEVER become the average jhon doe that has that tingeling feeling in his back head but does not know what is the cause of it. I am aware, I am awake and I will strieve to acheive what we previously took for granted.

Call forth our power, sound the battledrums, go into life sheding your past "form" and "knowledge" adn prepare to stand against the harsh winds of common knowledge, the God of War has spoken....

ps: To Matrix and Cloud, any ideeas for how we can do what we want to do. A "battle plan" of some sort. Let the goodtimes roll

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

great post:D Thanks for more enlightening work on reloadedism. As for a battle plan, maybe we need to make it crystal clear what we want to achive here? I have a feeling it will be different for everyone persuing this, but when everyone lays their cards on the table about their ideas and where they want this to go we can achieve it. This is a pretty vast subject here, which I'm sure won't seem so vast after we've mastered it.

Again, great post:)

Game On Gentlemen...

*Clears throat* Gentlemen... can someone give me a hell ****ing yeah!!!!? First... Ares, God man... that was absolutely beautiful words. I do not care if English isn't you first language... that post spoke to me very clearly. I am also glad that so many other people have felt the way that I do. Oftentimes (even when I made that first post to begin with) that I was in this world alone... that no one saw a problem with the way things were. But in fact... all of you do. Not only that, all of you understand that we can do something about this... and damn it we will. I definitely have a battle plan for this revolution (details to come) and although all of our destinations in life may indeed be very different... we all share the common goal... the reemergence of all that is... Man.

But I am going to be honest with you gentlemen... we have a very difficult road ahead of us, for we are battling the juggernaut known as society. Think about the time when you told your AFC friends about sosuave.com and remember when they laugh in your face and probably called you a loser because you went on a site to get girls... that kind of opposition is what we will be facing... if not worse. Remember that Einstein quote that I have in my signature... and just keep on going. I do not expect us to change the world... or even change much of it. In fact... we may only alter the lives of a 100 people... 50 people maybe... but no matter gentlemen. What does matter is that we start... so that we can teach our kids to be men again, and in turn they will teach their kids. Much like the women's suffrage moment, we may see very little progress by the time we die... but look how far women have come in 100 years... so imagine what we can accomplish as men by 2103.

Guys... I know many of us (especially on this forum) are probably still in High School... or maybe freshman year at best. Right now... "supposedly" we have little say so about what goes on in this world of ours. But you know, as well as I know... that even with the little number we may have right now, we can make something happen. I mean... look at this site for example. When I first came here... only like 5 or 6 people knew the path... now hundreds know the path, and relay that information to thousands. It's game time gentlemen... let us suit up.

Its nice to be back once in awhile, and see people rise up.

One time after the test in my Chem class, people started *****ing about the grades they received. The teacher's response was
"But you are right on the average of the class!". I laughed to this, and he asked me "what's wrong?".
"Average is the worst thing you can be!" was my reply.

THe point is, People who come to this site are FAR from average. People who take time to INVEST in themselves will have great power, since they will be confident, knowledgable and experienced. So go out there, play sports, lift, read, learn, go and invest in yourselves, for you will become a better human.

Men, no one ever said it is gonna be easy. If we stick together then it's gonna be a hell of a lot easier. It's like the American Revolution. Britain represents society and we represent the Patriots. The Patriots were defeated at first, but eventually totally kicked Britains ass. The Patriots had so much passion that nothing would get in there way of victory. That's what we need to do. It already seems like we have the passion. We just need to come up with a plan and execute it.

The people here really remind me of the men involved with the Revolution. It really makes me feel good to know that we have people of that caliber here. It only takes one person to make a difference, and hell, we've got at least 20. LET'S DO THIS.

Men, the first thing we must do is seperate ourselves from the stream of the feminist .media. What do I mean? I mean turn off your televisions. Unplug the cable.

Remember the movie fight club, they were real men; men not afarid of being a man. "We have not great war of our time, no great depression" our war is mental. We are going to be the tip of the spear. We will rise up and recliam what it means to be a man.

In order to be a force in our war, we must be intelligent. We must know something about everything. We must forget the distraction of televison, and forget the distraction. It must not keep us down.

How can we fight as worriors when we are letting the opposition inside our minds and hearts.

Read something else, listen to some impowering music, lift, study, get involved.

Remember what it is to be a man.

hey, wonderful job. quite a while back, i always thought that the world around me seemed odd, but that was because i was the rpg'ing anime loving loser who believed that magic stuff was real, so i thought it was odd in a more paranoid "someone's gonna come to me and teach me all this magic stuff" type of way... lol. neway, i have noticed though that men allow themselves to be shaped way too easily.

now, i have a question. is it just new to me cause i've been gone for a while, or is this little series of posts the first time you've abandoned the whole matrix-style posting thing?

finally, i have to say that i think the guy's okay in many ways and all for helping america become the way it is, but christopher columbus was hardly a hero. we're raised with these legends saying that everyone around him believed the earth was flat, but he knew it was round and set out to prove it. they say he was so daring and all, when really he was just sailing for the spice islands for sake of becoming wealthy. lol. don't mean to try and bore people with a history lecture or anything, just wanted to state that he was really just blind, not brave. pretty much the only thing i remember learning about him in elementary, and even a little in jr. high, that was true is that he thought he'd gone too far south and wound up in india. in the end, we didn't even need him anyways. there were plenty of people that wound up on this continent, so britain would have found it around the same time period anyways.

oh yeah, nice reference to the american revolution boono. i like it 'cause i'm watchin "the patriot" in us history, which happens to be one of my favorite historical-based movies like that.

BIZUMP

This post is definitely a keeper.

I have a few views on the subject that I have been thinking about in my spare time.

First off, I believe that a true man is defined diferently in todays society then it was a long time ago. A long time ago, true men were the guys who were warriors, the incredibly talented musicians, the exquisite painters and creators of art, and men who complete daring and dangerous tasks. Where as today, true men are defined as Political leaders, presidents of clubs and large gatherings of people, is very passionate in what he does, and does what he wants when he wants. A lot of the things that define a man these days were given things that all males had back in the day.

We need to change the fact that the men are defined diferently now then they were back in the day. Sure we can't become warriors and fight furious dragons and such, but we can become great painters, superb musicians, and brilliant psychologists. Notice how all of these things revolve around you, no one else but you. This is probably one of the main focuses in this revolution...improving yourself. That, infact, is mostly the purpose of this entire site.

So, gentlemen, pack up your bags because the world is in for one hell of a MANifestation.

P.S. I wrote this while listening to "Pete Townshend - Let My Love Open The Door" which is an excellent 80s song. I strongly recommend that you download this song.
