I second that, excellent way to handle it! You see how predictable her response was to you showing her you weren't phazed by her "coldness" and that you weren't mad. I wish I could've seen her face, lol. This is why guys have been telling you to BE THE PRIZE! So what you aren't a PhD student, you're still the fuuckin man. You have to believe that, most other guys who were as interested in her as you would've buckled under the pressure, good job.
