People now days seem to only view success as a money issue. If you can wake up in the morning and honestly say you're happy then I think you're successful.
Very true, for that very reason, I think it gives college more value then just an extension of high school to get more information to earn more money in life. I have to agree with John Galt that if one is going to college for the only reason of money, then it is overrated. A decent college is more than enough to earn an education that will win a decent job, provide one put enough into college. Plus, there are many other ways to become decently wealthy (though I think harder and more risky) then though a diploma and a job, like entrepreneurship.

But, as the core values of liberals arts, there more than just getting a diploma in college for a better job.

You know what? A lot of people who get into their top choice are unhappy about it. It's never what you hoped it would be, and sometimes it's the opposite of what you hoped for. Sure, it's a bummer, but take it as a chance to experience something new that you wouldn't have otherwise.

No college is IMPORTANT if you want to make 300,000 or more a year because it helps your job opp and resume. Yes you can be "successful" without going to college but most ppl won't be and they need college to mature and actually get some taste of the real world.

The one thing I learned is it DOESN'T MATTER WHAT COLLEGE YOU GO BUT WHAT YOU DO with the things offered. I know a kid dumb in HS didn't try and got 2.5-2.8 and went to a state school for a year, studied hard got a 3.8 GPA and is now going to either Duke or Stanford. You can always do well at undergrad and then move to a good grad school, most jobs look at the grad school.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
