Absolutely.It definitely makes a difference what your purpose is. If your purpose is to build the biggest model railroad or civil war diorama that you can fit in your garage, it's probably not going to help you get women. If it's something that can give you status or get you out socializing with people, it will likely help you meet more women, and make you more interesting to them. Like playing music, racing motorcycles, playing baseball, or something like that.
But you can’t (or perhaps shouldn’t) force yourself into something you aren’t interested in just to get women.
If your job and/or hobbies just aren’t sexy to women, I think you just have to own it. It is what it is. Your passion is your passion. You gotta do you.
