Reason why men die earlier than women

Maybe we die at a younger age because,

most of us start at a young age playing rough sports and our play in general is rougher, and leads to injury more often ...

most of us are brought up to be performers and go getters

car accidents are the number one killer of male's between like 16-23 years old

we go to college and see how fast we can down a beer bong, how many shots we can take and still walk .......while they for the most part sip wine coolers

we tend to have more stressful occupations

we bottle up emotions leading to stress, they have outlets

in general, we are more of a high performance machine driven by testosterone, more aggressive and competitive ....

Stress is a killer ..... if you're stressing about a woman or women in general, you have a long life ahead of you ......

I agree with everything Joekerr31 has said in this thread, especially the part about women being more into their grandkids than men. It makes sense that evolution would give the care-givers the extra years when they can still do it, than males long past their mammoth-slaying years.

Also, they have been carrying the women's bags and shit all their lives and they're tired.

Men die earlier than women because, as a group, men are really not good about going to the doctor to get screened for serious illnesses that tend to kill them to the same extent women as a group do. Men tend to wait until something is wrong to go to the doctor, and often if they have a potentially terminal illness it is usually at more advance stages. This also explains why married men live longer than single men do...because the married men's wives understand the importance of being screened for diseases and drag their husbands to the doctor. The single men don't have a wife making sure they go get regular check ups.

There have been studies studying the death records of monks and nuns. They lead identical lives. They live in nearly identical environments, eat nearly the same food, are sheltered from life distractions and stresses. And yet nuns still outlive monks by five years. This does make sense from an evolutionary vantage point.
