There is such a thing as an alpha male, but I guarantee you 95% of the guys calling themselves that on this forum are not it. You're not an alpha male just because you convince yourself that you are. You're not an alpha male just because you have some confidence in yourself, or aren't afraid to talk to girls, or because you know what a neg is, or because you got laid last night.

Walking around thinking you are an alpha male is not a bad mindset to have. Walking around saying you are an alpha male most likely makes you out to be a frigging joke.

Of course there are such thing as Alpha male, it's just a name for being a leader of a pack. Like an Alpha Wolf. However, most guys misunderstand how it is to be Alpha male. It's not just being the toughest, but also being intelligent, knowing how to act/treat people and others look up to you for being the way you are.

Absolutely true and well said. What amuses me is that PUAs think they can instantly become an alpha male by walking, talking or acting a certain way, but the very fact that they are trying so hard to prove themselves shows just how insecure and pathetic they really are.

The same goes for the old "bad boy" term. In reality, a bad boy is someone who steals cars, robs people, sells drugs, has done time for rape and/or assault (and sodomized the pretty boys while inside), NOT some nerd who speaks like a gangsta rapper, acts rude to people in the vague hope of getting a girl to look at him, swears, smokes or drops litter.

Instead of aiming to be an alpha male or a bad boy, you should just focus on being happy, making the most of yourself and pursuing the things you want. That way you will become a PIMP and everyone knows a pimp outranks all other PUAs.
