In the early days of this site things were on point. Guys would come in here share experiences and give pointers on how to improve your game. Then something really bad happened. Sosuave stagnated. The tips on game improvement became few and far between. Instead this site has saturated with newbies who ask VERY RUDIMENTARY QUESTIONS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED IN IN THE DON JUAN BIBLE, THE GAME, MYSTERY METHOD, AND OTHER SEDUCTION COMMUNITY SOURCE MATERIAL!!!!

Here's a sampling of some of the questions on this site:

Is It Possible To Turn A Friend Into A Girlfriendhttp://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=177079

Contact Her Or Just Wait http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=176942

Text For A Lunch Date? http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=176942

I don't mean to be picking on these guys, but it's obvious that they haven't read any source material. On Mystery's Venusian Arts site the questions are more in line with this:

Night Game Consistency http://www.venusianarts.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28123

Try To Do Group Theory But Obstacle Her Heckles Up From Start http://www.venusianarts.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28195

Sh*t Test Or Not, She Tells Me I'm Not Her Type http://www.venusianarts.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28105

As you can see the Venusian Arts sites has very different kind of questions and none of them involve asking questions about the basics.

To the newbies, can't stress the importance of reading the DJ Bible and other source material. I know you're just starting out, but diligence persistence, READING THE MATERIAL, and willingness to fail is the only that's going to improve your game.

When you ask questions pertaining to the basics, you're wasting yours and other people's time. Plus it shows you're looking for a quick fix and you're not willing to put in the work.

If you're new read the material and use the search function. I'm sure your question has already been answered in the DJ Bible or some other place. Let's get site back on track to where we're talking game specifics, as opposed to game basics.

I'd vote for MODs to lock threads where the first response should be "Read the DJ Bible"

The MODs don't do anything here. Trolls run rampant, ppl post stupid threads, and entire threads turn into name calling.

Unfortunately dude I have to agree with you. I post on a lot of different message boards. I've had my threads locked and I've been banned from boards for simply having a controversial or dissenting opinion. So I'm quite sensitive to having my threads shut down for bullsh*t reasons. However these dudes are asking questions that have already been answered in the DJ Bible, on the site or some other place.

I'm looking for new theories, strategies, and overall improvement. When I first got here I read the material, so why aren't they?

That's the weird the thing about message boards, either the moderators are over reaching and sensitive or they're not doing enough. I hate to say it but I think the moderators on sosuave aren't doing enough.

That my be the answer to the problem. Lock the threads, give the link and FORCE THESE DUDES TO READ THE MATERIAL.

If you expect people to not ask questions that have been answered in those things, then you are fooling yourself.

This isn't even even really a PU board where we discus advanced material. It basically is people asking for advice and getting feedback. If you don't like it, that's your problem.

The DJ bible is great but it's not perfect. It doesn't contain everything. Also most new people are not going to read it. That's just the way it is.

The mods have lives. They aren't going to be sitting on the forum all day reading every thread. There is a report bad post button for a reason. Posts get deleted and people do get banned if they are trolling.

I definitely prefer an underactive mod to an overactive one.
Free speech! I heavily advocate it.

Anyway, so what if some newbies post some basic questions? If they banned all the stupid threads there would barely be anything to read around here.

By the way, I don't think Mystery Method is considered required reading around here, as informative as it may be. The company line around here is that everything you need to know is in the DJ Bible (which is cool becaue it's free). Yes, more shoud read it. I do like to see what the various pickup gurus have to offer though.

This forum is (and website in general) is very poorly organized. The status of users is also not very definitive. The DJ(Don Juan) bible is not prominantly displayed. The links across the top(and bottom) as well as the featured articles box seems more like an advertisement then something people should be paying attention to, as part of this site.

When it comes to the forum itself, there is no beginners forum. There are stickies that most of which I've never read. The "bible" itself I've read a few things, but the majority I just skimmed through. However, I am not someone that needs guidance in any of these principles and such. I'm quite a capable and accomplished person in general. I came to this website as a goof when someone posted about this place at another message board I frequent.

Back to the board though. The bible itself is poorly organized. There isn't a comprehensive FAQ. It took me almost three weeks before I found out what IOI(Indicator Of Interest) meant. You guys throw acronyms around like crazy that just aren't explained anywhere. If you simply can't be bothered to type out the word FIELD REPORT(FR), or the like, then you are just too damned good to be giving this board any of your time. Seriously. Meet the world with respect and you'll get more from it than you already are. At the same time, fights(bickering really) are started over things that should be obvious, like the looks matters garbage. They don't. PERIOD.

The DJ bible is presented in such a way that, at first, it seems like it's not even a part of this site. There should be a beginners forum section(a start here) where there are ten or so separate sticky posts that talk about different subjects in the don juan world. Those posts should have plenty of links to reference discussions and, more importantly, outside support material. There should be an intermediate/advance forum where people who have broken through, can come and discuss advance topics. This is what should be the actual Don Juan Discussion forum, people who have made a change in their lives and are putting the concepts into action. New users shouldn't even be allowed to post in it regardless of who they are in terms of being a DJ. Get twenty-five posts helping in the beginners section and we'll let you join the discussion here type of thing. Post a few FRs as well and maybe we'll give you distinguished title that other users can take seriously.

Furthermore, when it comes to the users, you got people that have been here 3..4..5 years and still haven't kissed a girl, let alone fvcked one, and they're acting like they can give advice. I was reading a journal that is two and a half years long and the guy was constantly talking about shameless flirting. Yet, anytime he posted dialog he was having with girls, I couldn't see any flirting anywhere. I mean, out of dozens and dozens, if not a hundred plus lines of chat, he maybe had ten sentences of flirting. He's giving advice and people(beginners here) are taking his stuff as something to model.

Lastly. The moderators. I don't know where to start. I've seen one poster with that title. IN FOUR WEEKS of reading. It's obvious there is a moderator problem, considering there is a daily limit of ten posts per person. Not very discussion encouraging if you ask me. Think about it. People who have helpful, relevant advice and/or a just plain good story to relate hesitate, because they don't want to waste a post. So the answer to trolling and flaming has been to limit ALL discussion period. How about you discipline unruly posters instead. Then, you have someone changing the content of peoples post for the fun of it instead of deleting it. Kinky Kelly anyone. I was gonna respond to her post but, by the time I got back to it, it was altered.

I have to get back to work so I'll stop at what I've got for now.

i think every once in a while we need a thread like this to remind the new comers. There will always be new waves of ss newbies and some of the vet's just are tired of spoonfeeding.

He's also writing a book on how to pick up girls.

I agree man, that is why i dont come on here very often anymore. Its same topics all the time

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.
