Ok blah blah blah blah. Point is, you said you "either have it or you don't". You should've phrased it better, because you were inferring that you are either permanently 'slow' or permanently 'fast' -- which is not the case.

To a certain degree, granted, you either 'have it' or 'don't' -- but I don't think thats what is in question.
