I agree, to call that rape is ridiculous. That's actually a modern statutory concept. Illinois calls it custodial rape. If you are in charge of someone, like prisoner and guard, and you have sex with them, that's rape, no excuses. It's like the quote from the book One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by the character Jack Nicholson played in the movie, talking about an underage girl. "It may have been statutory, but it sure as hell wasn't rape. She was tripping me and then beating me to the floor."

So yeah, Jefferson and this woman had kids together. Where is the proof that she didn't enjoy his alpha D?
This is the same thing as feminists claiming that a female student can't have sex with a male teacher. Because he is in a position of power and has undue influence over her. Also the same thing as feminists claiming that a drunk girl can't give consent for sex, so it's rape. Of course, the guy can be drunk and be charged. Somehow the male is responsible for his decisions, but the woman isn't.

Obviously it's all BS IMO.

They (feminists) tend to frame this very strangely, given that few (even those alive then) knew any of the details.

If it WAS a cold blooded "rape" as defined today, it doesn't make much sense. She fathered six of his kids (allegedly), they were educated, they went to France, and he freed them as soon as they were "of age."

You COULD call this "rape," but it's a stretch.

I've always wondered why they (the feminists) didn't frame this as "Girl Power", framing as how a lowly slave girl SEDUCED the Alpha-Jefferson, had six of his kids, and got HER kids a WAY better life than she would have otherwise had.

A world champion case of hypergamy.

Kind of like when Crixus was banging Mrs. Dominus on the first season of the TV Show "Spartacus."

What if in the past when they burned witches they were just burning feminists? It'd make sense.

Think about the toxic ideologies feminists spread and how effective it is in influencing young women who lack experience and how society accepts it.

It's like dark magic.
