Rant: why are teachers so humourless?

When I try and chat up women who are teachers they always turn out to be a humourless ***** just like my experience of teachers as a kid. I didn't realize they were literally like that ALL THE TIME. Why can't they be normal just for 5 minutes?

They take offense everything, they take offense at the most obvious joke that a 5 year old can see is funny. They're not normal people.

You'd think they'd be kind people who like to help others learn but NOPE. They're rude arrogant stuck up, they think they know a lot but actually know very little. They're some of the dumbest women around apart form the ones who don't have a job or any life at all. I earn more than them (I don't tell them this) and my job is so much more fun and rewarding.

And yet they still look down on me. I'm not the one who has to baby sit brats all day. I on the other hand am a genuine intellectual, I write computer programs, which can either work or not work, and the ones I write, they work. My clients are the biggest in the entire industry. I know what I'm talking about when I say that teachers come across as idiotic people.

I don't even mind the fact that they're idiots, its the fact that they're RUDE RUDE RUDE that gets me. They think they've reached the top of the intellectual ladder when they haven't found the bottom rung. And then they want to tell me what's funny and what's not funny, yet they wouldn't be seen dead in a comedy club.

If you ever had a funny teacher, just remember this, he had a penis.

I hate teachers more as an adult than I did as a kid!

Perhaps they are trying to tell you they don't like you? If anyone like someone, they'll laugh, act impressed, etc regardless of what you say or do.

Well it's obvious they don't like me. But that's before they bother getting to know me. That's what I mean by arrogant and stuck up and rude. It's their default behaviour mode to just look down on anyone who tells a joke that you couldn't say in front of 5 year old's in a classroom. GET OVER YOURSELVES. I'm not a kid like you would find at work, I'm a man, and need to be treated as such. And why everytime a lady is treating me like absolute ****, I find out she's a teacher? I don't get **** from people with real jobs, funny...

From my experience, teachers and nurses tend to be b!tches. Conventional wisdom would suggest that those are "nurturing" professions and that those women are therefore high quality but nothing could be further from the truth. Strangely, the most laid back/easy to get along with women tend to come from professions that are traditionally considered boring (i.e. accountants, computer programers, etc.) At least, this has been my experience.

If you want to chat up women, talk to drug reps. These women tend to be hot and slutty.

Teachers are taught to be super PC for the classroom. They have to be so careful to avoid saying the wrong thing, that they lose whatever sense of humor they might have had.

Almost took the words out of my mouth. Teachers have to be proper all the time whereas in other jobs you can be foul mouthed and tell dirty jokes.

Lately I've been talking to bank tellers and chicks at my yoga class. Got good results from both.

The last teacher chick I talked to I noticed was also rude as fück that totally turned me off to her. I wasn't making a move, macking her up, or anything, so it was unprovoked and unnecessary...whatever. They live in an alternate dimension inside their minds. Run!

Around my way I have known of ex-teachers/support teachers, who act like the morals and standards enforced INSIDE these 'schools', the ones we all hate, totally arbitrary, and are responsible for our bland 'monoculture', have gone to their heads. They have this ability to say things to us that make us feel like us 'young whipper-snappers' are being watched OUTSIDE the schools. Says to me how institutionalized they really are.

It's because of schools that we, as adults, now have to harness our joy energies in the world of work. That there are certain occasions as to how/how not to behave.
We become people who forget what it was like to do **nothing**.
