A multimillionaire??? Are you kidding me?

He is not Oscar de la Hoya or Felix Trinidad or Mayweather Jr. Those guys a MULTI Millionaires.

This Jackson guy is not. His kind don't make a lot of money and they still have to give a huge % to managers and trainers and sparring partners.
I know they do. You do know He gets paid about 400-500k to fight right...and that doesnt count a win bonus or fight of the night or ENDORSEMENT MONEY. They may not get paid nearly as much as boxers but yes they are well off.

You should just shut up about racial stuff.. Sorry to say this but Asians in the US have it pretty good. Don't blame the white man for anything. I got into college easier cause I am listed as Asian.. haha thanks whites!
Broke Asians, (I assume you are probably pretty poor) like to pretend they are in the same boat as the black man.. times have changed and no one ESPECIALLY Asians is held down anymore.. in South Africa Asians were given white privileges.. and that was during apartheid.. if you blame everything on the white man you are just going to make yourself bitter.
Man i think youre taking it a bit far. I never said anything about anything Asian. Im telling the truth. Its no "Cop-Out" whatever the hell that dude meant. White people may not want to agree with me, but inside they know theres truth to what im saying they just want to hide it. I dont blame everything on white people.

This thread was about Forrest winning the championship and that the "unanimous decision" had some racial influence because he is more marketable. Quit taking it so far.

I don't know, I could have sworn this thread was about rampage getting arrested but that's just me.

You might want to check yourself but I think you are racist.

Not quite; Rampage made about half that.

• 3. Gabriel Gonzaga: $100,000
• 4. Melvin Guillard: $80,000 (includes $60,000 "Knockout of the Night" bonus)
• 5. Cole Miller: $80,000 (includes $60,000 "Submission of the Night" bonus)
• 6. Josh Koscheck: $70,000

•17. Dennis Siver: $7,000
• 18. Justin McCully: $5,000

They may not get paid nearly as much as boxers but yes they are well off.

I don't understand why boxers get paid more, since lately mma draws more ppv revenue. I would guess that as mma takes more fans from boxing, the pay should go up for the fighters, but we shall see. Notice that only the headliners make the big bucks, and the pay drops off dramatically after that. When you get to the level of local mma pros, here in the rural Midwest they make as little as $500-800 per fight. If a fighter stays healthy and can fight twice a month, he can make almost as much as at a fast food job. The UFC is like the NFL of mma, most fighters will never get there, but the average UFC fighter only makes about 50-60 grand a year. The bigger pay is in taking sponsorships and in opening a training gym, but boxers can do those things, too.

And once again about race, everyone is welcome to think however they do. But it would be nice if my thread did not get closed. Peace.

I apologize for making you feel that way. I had no intentions of coming off that way. I dont have anything against any race at all. But i was just speaking my mind.

Yes because I white man lost to a black guy it must be a fix right???
Dude you are a racist. Jackson lost to a white guy get over it. It was a close fight, no doubt about it, but Jackson shouldn’t have let it go to the judges.

Fvck you for accusing me of being racist. I think you are the last person to be accusing other races of being racist. Not to sound racist myself but we all know your ancestral history. I never said the fight was fixed...but no way in hell it was a unanimous decision. It should have been 2 to 1 at most. Im done with this thread man because i dont want to participate in the thread where bunch of homo's accusing me of sh!t that they dont need to be accusing me for.

I just think the UFC liked to set it up so they can give Liddell a person he can beat. Just wait till Liddell gets his chance at Forrest. He'll knock Forrest's flimsy as$ out. Then it'll be a rematch between Liddell and Rampage again.

Dont you see how this is set?

No f*ckin way Liddell beats Griffen. As the only legit person here who has trained and partied with UFC fighters (I live 15 minutes from Randy C's gym) I can say Forrest is the real deal. I won 4 grand on that fight because Forrest does not tap. My hat's off to rampage for being explosive but Forrest is just a tough tough dude. Myself and a few others who run the circut saved up money knowing that fight was going to happen and bet the house on Griffen with not a care in the world. Liddell is lazy these days he can't get back in the kind of shape he needs to be in to pummel the life out of Griffen which is what you need to do to win. He trains hard and you can beat him with a base ball bat and he'll give you a bloody smile and ask if that's all you have at the end of the day.

Anyone here going to check out the (free nation wide) fight against Silvia and Irvan tonight on Spike TV?

All free no pay per view should make for a entertaining bout.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

Correct it's the main event Silvia and Irvan on Spike TV...

Guess there giving these freebies to get more viewers involved in the MMA arena reckon it's to bring in more revenue for the pay per view fights sorta of lets hook them get them addicted on the freebie... thinking it just might work..

Was the entire UFC event broadcast free on SpikeTV? I saw it at a bar and it seemed to have advertisements running throughout. I don't know what the ppv viewers were seeing while the ads were on. Anderson Silva was the star of that event.

Arlovski and Fedor kicked ass for Affliction. I could have done without MegaDeath, but I thought their first event went well. Time will tell if they can continue to afford to pay out the $1,000,000 purses that Dana White will not pay to UFC fighters.

Yes the entire event was free on Spike TV it was pretty cool but it lasted my time close to 11 pm..

It was actually like watching the event as if it happen a few months back like going to a commericial then coming back to each of the fighters that were fighting leading up to the main event with Silva..

I realized I had his name misspelled as well as his opponent but Silva is one bad dude.

Fedor Emelianenko I'd of loved to of seen that fight he is considered the best heavyweight fighter in the world in MMA..I saw a fight where he was dropped on his head most fighters would have went out cold but his skills of knowing how to fall by his wrestling experience he shot back up and whipped his opponents butt..

I believe he has only loss one fight in his career but I have loss track of him. I enjoy watching him fight he is so freaking good it's scary unlike other fighters I have seen...He's just a guy you'd see next door he's not cut or does he have big muscles he's just sick as a fighter unreal.

After watching Anderson Silva I wonder how he would hold up against Fedor but I believe Fedor would have to come over to the UFC I reckon and Silva would have to gain more weight to get into the heavyweights but hell these fighters need to be challenged by the best so it would be entertaining to watch and I'd pay to see it.

Fedor needs to beat Arlovski, then both Anderson and Wanderlei Silva, then retire to fight only bears, as mere humans cannot give him a good fight.:D

Woman Has Miscarriage after Jackson's Rampage
Aug 3rd 2008

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's wild hit-and-run last month just got real, real messed up.

Holli Griggs, who was 16 weeks pregnant at the time Rampage allegedly sideswiped her Escalade, recently had a miscarriage. Her fiance, Bill Krebs, told the Daily Pilot she was perfectly healthy before the incident, but after the wreck she lost a lot of fluid from her womb -- and eventually lost the baby.

The couple have retained an attorney, but have yet to take legal action against Quinton.

As we first reported, Quinton was charged with felony hit-and-run and felony evading arrest after leading cops on an insane chase through Orange County.
