The former UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, has been arrested on charges of felony evading, reckless driving and hit-and-run. Several reports mention Jackson running red lights during the pursuit, driving on sidewalks and sending pedestrians fleeing in terror. Photos from TMZ.com appear to show police arresting Jackson at gunpoint.

In an interesting twist to this story, Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Dana White flew to California to post Jackson’s bail.

I was going to post about this but i got lazy. I just dont get why he would run. Hes a multimillionaire and can afford a few accidents. He probably thought he killed someone and panicked.

I just cant get it through my head why anyone would want to run and think they would get away because even if they do...the guys face is plastered all over the car! He wouldnt be too hard to find.

Heres a Youtube video on it:

Maybe he wants to go to jail to train for his rematch with Griffen. Kind of an undesputed type deal. Who wants to be cell mate's with a guy named Rampage?!

All I'll say is Rampage Jackson won the fight against Forrest Griffth due to the fact 2 judges were watching the ring side girls walk around in their short shorts and the woman judge was preocupied with admiring Forrest's glutes and his big arms and loss count.

Rampage was neither drunk nor on drugs in this latest incident involving his truck. This clearly shows he's experiencing some depression right now in his life and I'd bet it's all because of the loss brought on by the unfair ruling.

I won't make jokes against the man and I am not saying what he did was bright..But depression will make you do sh*t you otherwise wouldn't do so I'll give the man the benefit of the doubt until further info surfaces.

I hate it when folk seems to jump on the lets make fun band wagon. Reading blogs and the comments of some people clearly shows why this world and country needs love and empathy toward others...

Forrest Griffth will be speakng in tongues wishing they'd of scored the fight in Rampages favor who was clearly the winner come the rematch if the felony counts don't put him in jail for long.

I only wish Rampage well.

Got this off the UFC website I'm brused all over just from reading it.

Quinton Jackson vs. Forrest Griffin is up

Jackson had no sponsors. It's the Affliction paying him to have no sponsors deal. Jackson is awesome at playing to the camera.

Griffin got a pretty huge reaction. Jackson got some boos but more cheers than boos, but this is a crowd that wants Griffin to win.

Crowd was psyched for this but not like they would be for a killer main event. Head kick by Griffin. Loud Griffin chants. Griffin connected with a quick right and more low kicks. Body kick by Griffin. Huge Forrest chant. Both swung and Jackson rocked Griffin with the best blow so far. It's a slugfest. Griffin has more style but Jackson only has to hit him once. Jackson hurt him with a series of punches. Griffin coming back but he didn't hurt Jackson. The leg kicks are taking their toll. Jackson isn't moving well. Left leg is in bad shape on Jackson. Jackson decked him though with an uppercut. Excellent round. Jackson 10-9 but both were damaged.

Griffin has him hurt with the kicks to the left leg and knees up the middle and a guillotine. Griffin on top now on the ground. Jackson's leg is gone. Griffin dropping the elbows and rubbing the forearm into Jackson's face. Griffin got side position. People went nuts at his clearing guard. He's going for a Kimura but Jackson escaped More elbows and ground and pound. More punches from the top by Griffin. Full mount. More elbows. Jackson trying a reverse but can't get it. Loud Forrest chant. Griffin continues to punish Jackson from the top. Rubbing the elbow and more elbows. Griffin just continues to punch and elbow and Jackson is doing nothing. Very close to a finish. 10-8 Griffin.

High kick by Griffin. Trading punches. Another high kick by Griffin but Jackson blocked it. Jackson still has the one punch power and Griffin doesn't. Body kick by Griffin. Low kick by Griffin. Kick to the right shoulder by Griffin cutting down his punching power. Jackson with a series but Griffin stood up to him. Another low kick by Griffin. Jackson rocked Griffin bad with a right. Another low kick. Jackson coming back. Kick to the right shoulder and right leg by Griffin. Trading and Griffin got the better of it. Another low kick by Griffin. Trading and again Griffin getting the best blow. More kicks by Griffin. Griffin with three quick ones and Jackson back but missed his punches. Griffin 10-9 so I've got it 29-27 right now.

Jackson tearing into him and got Griffin down. Trading and this time Jackson got the better of it. Jackson took Griffin down. Griffin bleeding from the right eye. He's got a triangle from the bottom. Jackson tried the power bomb but Griffin knew enough to let it go so didn't take a bad slam. Jackson with punches. Griffin with an uma plata but Jackson escaped and tagged Griffin as he got up. Griffin is tired and he's been rocked with punches. Jackson's mobility is limited. It's a war. Jackson rocked him with two more punches. Great exchange and Jackson got three good ones in. Jackson connected again. He's hurting Griffin now with the punches. Jackson connected with several more punches. Stranding ovation. Jackson's round. 38-37 going into the final round.

Final round: Jackson rocked him again with a right. Griffin with a kick to the faced and another low kick. Griffin with a good right to the jaw. Griffin with a knee and Jackson back with a punch and two hard ones. Griffin back with a hard one. This is an epic battle. Another kick to the jaw by Griffin. A left to the jaw and low kick by Griffin. Right to the jaw by Griffin. Another punch by Griffin to the face. High kick is blocked. Jackson reaches and misses. Right to the jaw by Griffin. Low kick by Griffin. Jackson back. 90 seconds left. Jackson killed him with two punches. Another right by Jackson. Jackson's knee nearly went out as he lunged for a punch. Knee by Griffin. Jackson back with an uppercut. Trading blows with seconds left. Time out. Fantastic fight. That round could go either way. I've got a 10-10 and 48-47 but if you put a gun to my head to pick a round I say Jackson and a draw because Jackson's shots were much harder.

At press row it's a split between Griffin winning and a draw. Crowd completely behind Griffin but they would be for anything close.

Byrd 48-46 48-46 49-46 Griffin. Place going nuts. Jackson said Forrest kicked his ass. Juanito was real mad thinking Jackson won. He asked who won and when someone said Griffin, he was pissed.

Here are how the judges went

Adalaide Byrd who scored it 48-46, gave 4 and 5 to Jackson and Griffin 1, 2 and 3 with 2 as 10-8

Nelson Hamilton had it 48-46 with 1 and 4 for Jackson, and Griffin getting 2 10-8

Roy Silbert had it 49-46 with only round 4 for Jackson.

oh god, the white man holds everyone down. I guess they are trying to get rid of Anderson Silva with a noname white guy Saturday. The only thing Irvin is known for is knocking out Houston Alexander who was over rated as it was.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

Let me guess...you and the poster above you are both WHITE? So you wouldn't understand. I wouldn't expect you to. Griffin is more marketable to them and can generate more money because of the fact that he is...and White fans (majority MMA fans) would rather see him as champion.

You should have seen the bar that i was watching the fight in...it was split in two with the minorities on one side rooting for Rampage...and the Whites on the other rooting for Griffin. The white dudes were ecstatic when Griffin got the decision.

Same thing goes to the Rampage Vs. Iceman fight. Minorities were going crazy after that knockout, and the whites just shut up.

Now dont get me wrong, this isnt a racial thread..I have nothing against anyone of any color...I have a lot of White friends so dont hate me...but im just telling it like it is. Rampage is a great champion but the UFC needs someone they can market better and make more money off.

So let me get this straight. You think the UFC rigged or gave favorable decsion on the fight so Forrest could win because he is white.

Everyone is welcome to their own opinions about mma and race. It is a business, and it is about profits. There is a reason for the 'Great White Hope' cliche' of a dominating white heavyweight boxing champ. Obviously, that has not happened in a long time, and if it did, more of a country that is predominantly white would be attracted to boxing and the promoters would make more money. But if there was a racial preference in the decision, it could be argued that it might work the other way, too. Most UFC fighters are white or Brazilian, a champ who is a black guy from the US will attract than fan base. And btw, I really doubt that Brazilians care what color people are; they themselves come in all different colors. Americans don't understand that most prejudice in other countries is based on economic class or religion. It is not as simple as white versus black like we tend to see it.

People are simply more comfortable with other people who are most similar to themselves. That is the basis of all racism. It's a mindset we all carry as a self-protection mechanism and have for thousands of years. Up until the past couple hundred years, hardly anyone ever saw another person who was much different than them. There was virtually zero travel. So usually anyone different was diseased or dangerous in some way. That is the real reason we have racism, not slavery. Right now, people all over the world are murdering each other for the sake of differences that are probably not readily discernible to you and I. It's all the same thing and relates to the same evolutionary trait of fearing that which is different.

Forrest trains in Vegas and it was like a home crowd for him, and on top of that, I think he won the fight. As I judge, I might have called it a draw to make them fight a rematch because a belt should only be taken away by a convincing victory, but Rampage did not win. I am not an expert on the scoring, but I do have a better than lay person understanding of mma judging, having been training eight months now and hoping to have my first cage fight in September. I was not surprised that Forrest got the decision. I don't think Rampage was, either, or he would not be taking it so hard. I think he's flipping out from thinking that he is old and fat, and his career is over. The guy is not used to losing. He needs a time-out in one of those rehab clinics that the California celebrities go to before he can self-destruct any further, and I imagine that is what is going on right now. After he gets a little help, he can come back as a fighter, but that can't happen if he's in jail. I hope the best for the guy, and I want to see some rematches, with Forrest eventually, but I think Chuck Liddell deserves his chance first.

You know to change the subject a bit I saw a picture of Rampage and Forrest and I can say the TV doesn't do justice for the two mens size..Forrest actually looks way bigger then Rampage but I can't find the picture I was looking at to post the link here to get your guys opinion..

Forrest always looks sort of skinny and Rampage always looks like an oak tree more powerful but this picture told alot maybe this is another reason Rampage was so beat up. But opinions are still floating that the lady judge had it wrong. But you know what fight does anyone agree with 100% anyway it's just our nature to disagree with fight dicisions instead of knockouts or choke outs which shows a clear winner in this sport I just don't like it when people start making fun of anyone when they are clearly in a down moment like Rampage is thats just me and my personality regardless of who it is..

I'll agree too Chuck Liddell who I call Belly Boy needs another try but I wonder if he has anymore in the tank after loosing 2 from Rampage he might be a bit fearful getting hit by his punch and if I am not mistaken knocked out both times but I would reckon fear isn't in these fighters blood.

I guess now we all have to stay tune and see what comes up in the days and months ahead but I know learning about different fighters backgrounds and where they live and train they really are a good bunch of blue collar workers in a octagon or ring seeking dreams of a better life in something they enjoy doing and training for. It really gets interesting to watch each fighter progress to see when they will loose and when they have the rematches.

I love the MMA and UFC I am addicted and I do have a little background of the sport in my blood just wish I was younger so I could start training again and enter competition.

I'd like to see Machida get a shot before Chuck. Chuck just doesn't look right anymore. I think he has slowed down to much to counter.

You should just shut up about racial stuff.. Sorry to say this but Asians in the US have it pretty good. Don't blame the white man for anything. I got into college easier cause I am listed as Asian.. haha thanks whites!
Broke Asians, (I assume you are probably pretty poor) like to pretend they are in the same boat as the black man.. times have changed and no one ESPECIALLY Asians is held down anymore.. in South Africa Asians were given white privileges.. and that was during apartheid.. if you blame everything on the white man you are just going to make yourself bitter.

A multimillionaire??? Are you kidding me?

He is not Oscar de la Hoya or Felix Trinidad or Mayweather Jr. Those guys a MULTI Millionaires.

This Jackson guy is not. His kind don't make a lot of money and they still have to give a huge % to managers and trainers and sparring partners.
