Sammo, you're a tough-a$$ competitor :p

You know what, those guys preaching maturity, are all just a bunch of sissy gals.

I've always played soccer in the halls, in the classroom, tried to break the ventilator everyday (d@mn it was strong), my colleaugues broke some lamps, glasses and windows, we've destroyed our lockers' doors and chairs, tables, benches and whatever was avaliable.

Oh, and the computers !! Porn, and Genesis emulators for everyone, by BBB :D
Besides almost deleting everyone's PHP project once.

I've stolen a soccer ball once, but it was rotten. I also kicked one on top of the school building, it must be there as you read this :)

@ home, my builiding had like 96 fire extinguishers, we've emptied 52 once. All stairs were covered with white dust.
We used to throw rocks on the gas station celling, that's beside here, and once we set fire on the terrain on the other side... luckily we put it down without needing the firemen to come.

What I say to you, when you get old, and your little grandkids want to hear the wild stories, do you want to disappoint them and tell stories about your friends, or make the laugh and giggle at your crazy stories?

Isn't adolescence the time to be irresponsible, immature and get away with it?
Isn't the pain of nothing doing something much more harsh than the regret of something silly.

It's amazing to see 17,18,19 years olds in such ego-trips.
Let's have fun and enjoy while we're young, and we're not hipocrytical as yet.

Einstein was the smartest man ever, yet, he'd talk about things like friends, girls and all that. Was he immature? Or was he an incredible man???

Its really funny to read you guys making fun of 17 year olds for being immature. Being immature is what high school is all about. And college, for that matter, too.

Pranks are cool. As long as no one gets hurt. And as long as you are willing to pay for things you break. That's just common courtesy. Making an ass of yourself in front of bunches of people is fun.

I'm willing to bet most of the nay-sayers here are people that never did it. Probably were jelous of the ones who did.

And back to what this thread is all about; (or is that a : or maybe a , I'm never really sure about those things.) doing little things like this that get your blood flowing are good confidence boosters. Just being funny in front of people is fun. Everytime I go to Kentucky (i've decided that every time I go to Kentucky I will get drunk and perform. so far so well) I make a point to get drunk, rap and beatbox on stage, and then hit on the girls who were watching. Its quite fun.

If that's true, then no wonder I hated high school. And no wonder I have a negative impression on underclassmen undergraduate college students.

Whatever floats your boat. But if that happens to me I feel horrible afterwards. It's a very bad self esteem and confidence reducer.

Possibly.

I'm one of those "nay-sayers." But I have once done a prank, and it wasn't at all like I expected. I got away with it, but it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. What I did was that one night, some friends and I bought a twelve pack of TP and used it all to cover up this house. The house belonged to this perfect no vices and very annoying goody-two-shoes who went to my high school and almost nobody liked.

Afterwards, I didn't feel that great awesome feeling that I thought I would after having done it. I felt silly. I used to be a little jealous (not deeply jealous) before I did it. But now I think it's just stupid, meaningless, and a waste of resources and money.

Perhaps I just have a different way of thinking than many of you here. But I certainly didn't get that good feeling out of pranking that many of you here seem to get. And it seems like so much work for something that's not very much.

Just my $.02,

Ben

I agree. There's times when it's fun, but others when it's not at all. Guess it all depends on what you want to do with your life.

i love pranks. as long as you aren't hurting anyone.

i do stupid sh!t all the time to make myself laugh. we like to ride around in ski masks at night. stop at gas stations, and pump gas like that. go in and buy a soft drink, it is funny to see the clerks get fidgety. except for when we get pulled over.

we also like to ride around and silly string people. especially when they chase us.

drive around your downtown area at lunchtime, and say in a very sober fake yell to the businessmen on the corner "show us your tits!" (works best if youre a girl...)

if i wake up on the wrong side of the bed, i also randomly scream at people on the street. not any worded screams, just a nice abrupt "AHHHHH!"

its great. its free.

You know why it reduces your confidence? It's because you were never REALLY confident, if embarrasment gets to your confidence levels then you you my friend, have fake confidence which is driven off the oppinions of others.

Possibly.

Maybe it wasn't the prank for you, maybe you dont like pranks. Who knows, all i do know is that alot of people have fun doing these kind of things and i am one of them so i will continue to do them. Once you have done everything and embarrased yourself in front of the entire school like i have you begin to feel like you can comfortably do anything, one of the best feelings you can have in high school.

Perhaps you do, who knows. But don't tell us to grow up just because you dont have the same interests.

TPing people's houses isn't funny. Or fun for that matter. No wonder you didn't feel good. I've only had one prank experience that has gone awry. Me and and some friends ended up being chased almost all the way to Atlanta. Then the other car pulled off the interstate (I assume they were about to run out of gas.)

Let me clarify, I'm not a big fan of pranks. They usually involve hurting someone (either physically, or just pissing them off.)

I'm more a fan of just doing stupid things that are funny.

And Abbott, keep in mind you did just ONE prank. and it wasn't a good one at that. Don't judge all prank experience based off of that one. Maybe try to do one thats funny (you don't have to be original, just go streaking through campus) and see how you like it. Its not so bad. Trust me.

fezz, i don't care what anyone else says man, pranks are the ****!!

There was one time a couple of friends and I jacked a school bus in the middle of the night and parked it in the middle of our quad. On the side we spray painted our class year "2004" on the side. People couldn't stop talking about it for weeks.

yeah I agree with this concept, except my choice is to scream at people when I drive by, and mess with people next to me at stop lights.

Streaking?

I'm not familiar. What is it?

About the TP thing...perhaps some of the reason why I didn't like it was because a few times it happened to me when I was in high school. It didn't happen that often to me, like it did to that goody-two-shoes I mentioned a little earlier.

One of the times (or so my father tells me, he cleaned it up before I could see it) some people used ketchup, tampons, hot dog buns, and toilet paper to spell out "Hi Ben!" The sign was on the back my Dad's hatchback coupe which was parked near the street towards the house and on the driveway. I don't know if I'll ever be able to forget that. I never found out who it was. All I knew was one person had to be female and one person had to have a driver's license, not a lot of info.

TPing peoples houses simply isn't fun. And its completely unfunny.

Streaking is when you run around a public place without your clothes on. Its not original, but still LOTs of fun
