Hi,

Remember I posted awhile back about losing that girl's number within a matter of minutes *smacks forehead...* Anyway, I've been meaning to go and talk to her but, haven't had the time to. She gave me her cell # but, I just checked the phone book and seen her home #. Should I call her or would it look stalker-ish? She gave me her cell #, not her home #. Should I call and say that I misplaced her number and I just looked her up in the phonebook? Is that wrong?

*I really like this girl but, would this look weird from her point of view?

I'm guessing you misplaced her cell number, from the sounds of it. While it is creepy that you looked up her number in the phone book (how'd you remember her first and last name but not her number?!) you could always play it off as if she gave you the house number instead.

"Huh? This is your house phone, and not your cell? I don't know what you're talking about - this is the number you gave me... how drunk were you that night?!"

just tell her that your phone broke and that you lost her number, easy as that

However, if there is no chance you will ever see her again then just call it is better to be rejected then to regret

Hello

If her number is in the phone book, it is a public number. If she didn't want anybody to use her home phone number she would have it unlisted.

Just call her and tell her that you lost her cell number. She probably wont mind. If she does, she will find a way to tell you and that will be the end of it. There is no matter to worry.

....I'm thinking f*ck it, I'll go see her after class . Just grab my balls and go see her. The thing is I feel a little awkward I mean, just drop by and say 'Hi, haven't seen you in a while...blah blah blah...' (I asked for her cell # early last month and haven't seen her around since).

dont tell her anything, making excuses up is weak, it shows weakness if you need to come up with an excuss for finding her number! She is only going to make a big deal of it if you do, so just dont mention it and she wont either!

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.
