Ok I know how all you guys feel on "looks" and how much you hate them, but there's something I'm really curious about...your hair.

I usually keep my hair short, and girls generally think it looks better. However I've noticed that during the beginning of every relationship my hair was much longer (it's wavey/curly so girls think it's "cute").

Have any of you noticed you get more looks (in a good way) by the ladies when you had your hair a certain way? (I've usually gotten less when mine was long).

Short = athlete, business man, stern, masculine (although sometimes, long hair can be even more manly than short hair, it depends how it's done).

Long = artist, musician, sensitive, down to earth.

Women flip flop on this issue a LOT. Most important thing is to choose a hair style that fits your personality.

Many of the best actors in Hollywood begin assuming their character starting with their hair. As in, the hair is the first thing which shapes this personality and helps them to get into character.

Brad Pitt and Rainn Wilson have said this in several interviews. Many other actors have said it as well... just their names escape me.

Choose hair that best unleashes your current personality.

If you're in an artsy phase of your life, play that up and get into character. If you're at a stage where you hit the gym and play sports 5 days a week, become that man with your hair.

I've always had my hair short but a few months ago I started growing it long. Now I'm at a point where it is too much maintainence and I'm thinking of cutting it short again!

As far as attracting the opposite sex goes, I attracted more women with shorter hair but better quality ones with longer hair (better looking and seem to be more inclined to stick around for longer).

Honestly, do what you think is best for you rather than what you think will be most attractive to women, you are #1, not some hoe.

I have had a shaved head for 10 years.

I am now in the process of growing it long and then I'm going to make it dreadlocks.

So far I have to say.

Closely shaved: looks 7/10

Longer shaved: looks 5/10

Hair: Unstyled: 3/10

Hair: styled (beckham style): looks 8/10

Hair syled (all crazy and messy): Looks 9/10

 Long hair is metal! Women seem to love the man-mane, goes with my whole skater/rocker look pretty well.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
