What is it exactly about older men that women find so attractive? My first guess is money; an 35 y/o man is (likely) to be further ahead in his business / career than his 23 y/o counterpart, and thus have more money.

My second guess is a women wants to cash in on the guys life insurance policy since he will die sooner than a younger guy, and of course inherit his assets.

I was wondering about this because I know 2 guys in there thirties who happen to be unemployed and yet still get a lot of attention from 20-something year olds, so it can't just be money.

I always thought the main reason was the experience and wisdom they are suppose to have at that point. Its always said that women want men, not boys and the thing is even at age 20 you still have guys acting like boys sometimes. A 35 year old with his **** together is going to be a man.

That and also men age more gracefully.

**probably should have posted in MM if you wanted only 30 year olds answering

Older men are more mature, women don't want their guys to be kids. Over time they've learned how to carry themselves, they've made their mistakes and learned from them.
Older men have more experience, so they tend to be better lovers.
Older men are not quite so jacked up on hormones, so they think about things other than just getting some more often.
Older men have more money, as you say, which also means they can take them to more interesting places.

I've heard some women complain that women lose their looks when the get older while men get better looking. I don't know if that's true or not, but clearly it is the case for some guys. Regardless, aging doesn't treat men quite so cruelly as the women.

Not all girls like older men, quite a few do though.

guys, you all know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
with that being said, you also know that not all women "dig" older men.

when i was single, i did not prefer to date older men.
i preferred to date guys around my own age.
maybe 2 years older or younger .
they were better suited for me.

now i'm not saying that i don't like to watch george clooney on the big screen cause he's sexy to watch just like demi moore is sexy for guys to watch... but i wouldn't have dated some old guy with shriveled up old balls for nothing.

and i also agree that men age much more graceful than women do.
they become distinguished and there are tons of young women who do really dig distinguished men.

When I was 18 I pondered it, presumed it was just money. And I was useless with women then in terms of relationship and I thought I knew it all. At 21 with more failed relationships I was better build to deal with them. Now at my grand old age (hehe), I realise the younger women like us older men cause we're less likely to f u c k it up.

But that is only young womens assumption. We can f u c k it up even if we're 50. If I knew what I know now at 18, I would be glorious.

Its not older men that's a factor, it the level of maturity and ability to handle relationships attached to older men that attracts them.

With all these complaint from younger boys. I have a feeling you boys are lost.

Oh yeah, the money does help, but its just an aid. This day and age, women work.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

Its Attitude and experience.

You can't buy that...but you can feel it.

Women feel that and you can't fake it.

It's like when you catch an old fish. It doesn't flop around like a younger bluegill would. Any old fish knows how to handle being caught. It says, "I've been caught before, I know the drill, no need to squirm" and just waits for you to unhook him.
