Is it possible to make "subsections" on these forums? possibly a subsection under Health and Fitness mainly for diet, one mainly for routines/exercises etc?

seconded!

I think a split between weight training/cardio, nutrition, and general health would be appropriate. Or sports-specific forums as well.

you mean we could talk with guys who want to learn more about lifting or losing bodyfat w/o having to read about penis problems (or worse)? brilliant!

though I think nutrition & exercise go hand-in-hand......

they do, but they're both very broad topics which deserve a sub-forum of their own! they would complement each other.

Haha, we'll have a masturbation subforum, an acne subforum... :D
I would imagine they would leave that one alone lol

Health & Fitness
- Routines and Exercises
- Nutrition
- General Discussion

would seem to be a good layout?

This way we wouldn't have to sort through the endless "i have a pimple and now its a chicken, what do i do?" threads. those can be left for the general discussion section. Those who are interested in diet, bam. Those interested in exercise? Bam.

rathar tehn that, I would suggest a topic catagory selection for this. seperating threads into forums is a great way in splitting apart potential posters.

example:

Health & Fitness
  • Routines and Exercises
  • Nutrition
  • General Discussion

aside from the fact that the parent forum should be for general discussion, I would not visit the nutriotion forum as often as the routines forum. for some people, they will never venture into the subforums.

howeever, with a thread prefix or graphical thread prefix, threads will be easily distinguishafiable(yes my spelling sucks).

[Exercise] am i going too heavy?
[exercise] how can i spot-reduce?
[nutriotion] do strawberries make my butt bigger?
[exercise] best time to go to the gym

edit: secondly, mods do not have the ability to add forums, only superadmins do.

it's worth a shot. I believe people would visit the nutrition section more often than you think when they realize how important it is.
