Bull****.

The guy with the most testosterone will usually start a fight before the guy with less testosterone, but will not affect the outcome beyond size, strength and aggression.

The guy who is better prepared and more experienced will win. Bullmoose described taking a guy down at the knee. Thats an excellent move and effective regardless of testosterone levels.

The most masculine man is still vulnerable at his throat, eyes and solar plexus and groin.

Train hard, fight easy.

The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war.

If you want to learn to blue, I'd rely solid training rather than hormones...

I've done;

Taekwondo

Karate

Kickboxing

I won't go into the two not on your list, so Taekwondo was great fun, very flashy.

A lot of martial artists in movies have a background in Taekwondo; its signature moves are sweeping kicks, some almost acrobatic.

It is largely leg based; aside from some extremely useful evasive moves and painful holds (Taekwondo basically teaches you to get out of any close combat threatening situation, that might see you facing weapons, being restrained, choked, etc).

Punching is merely a supplementary thing; its real life value lies in the kicks and close-combat.

Despite how useful some of the moves are, the scope is kinda narrow, and i'd suggest avoiding it in favour of something like Jujitsu for real life application.

But competition Taekwondo is about as much fun as you'll ever have.

I agree with above poster, but just in case, I'd like to add;

It's not good at pubs/clubs and in generally crowded places.

I trained it for a year, and came to the conclusion that I'm more of a fist, elbow, forehead person when it comes to fighting.

And, I'd also like to add:
It's not the best trained NOR the bloke with the most testosterone that wins, But rather the one with the least qualms about harming someone.

Training is one thing, reality, quite another.

There are NO rules in a fight, except those laws you have to abide, in order for it to be called "self defence"...

I consider that part of training. If you are properly trained you will be prepared, capable, and willing to act should the situation require it.

Yeah, that's why you make sure he swings at you first, cuz then it's self defence.

And I repeat myself: controlled de-escalation.

There was a guy up north of here, a fireman, who started a fight in a bar a few years ago. Eyewitness accounts say they were just shoving each other outside the bar, macho crap; the firefighter slipped and hit his head on the concrete and F----ING DIED. This was right after 9/11. The guy who agreed to "take it outside" is now looking at twenty years behind bars, wearing lace panties and answering to the name "b!tch."

Don't fight unless your life depends on it.
