Put myself in an AFC situation, how to fix?

Sent a girl I know a message saying I hadn't seen her in ages and that we should catch up.

She replied pretty quickly saying that we should, included some more small talk and said she would call me tomorrow. Doh!

Anyway, "tomorrow" is now gone. Can I redeem myself from here?

Btw I think I am more interested in her as a friend because she is great to talk to, she is HB9 but has a fair reputation for getting around.

If you're only concerned about friendship then who cares when you call her, isn't as much pressure just give her a buzz and talk ??!? But I have a feeling your in denial, you want her and you know it, call her either way, its never too late.

If you want this chick that bad, try to catch her again online and say something, but watch how you say it because you don't want her thinking that you sat around all day waiting on her call (I'm not saying you did, but I'm just saying it could sound that way). If she doesn't call this time, then just forget about her.

Redeem yourself? You make it sound like you did something wrong.

I would give her an choice, call her and tell her that you are going out to eat, to the mall, watever, and tell her to come along with you so you can catch up on old times. If she has the time, she will come along. If she doenst have the time or she doesnt want to see your, her loss.

I thought I did something wrong by messaging her and not calling... and to clear up something, my messages were text msgs via mobile(cell) phone.

chlywly: I probably am in denial, I've been "out of the game" for a few months... in fact before that I had a 2-3 yr relationship, so... it has been a very long time. Either way, she is great "social proof", Ive met up with her before and had a ball... my confidence just soared.

On calling, when do I call? I have read conflicting things on what to do/say. Do I pretend I didn't notice that she didnt call, just mention it or get upset??

you never tell a girl to call you because most of the time they WONT. just thought i'd remind you that. it puts the ball in their court and you're left hanging. that's a situation you don't want because you have no POWER.

if you were only interested in her as a friend, you wouldn't be groping that you "messed up."

truthfully, something like that shouldn't phase you. suck it up like a man and go get that punani you're in denial of. the first step is to identify what YOU want. the next step is to see your steps in how you'll get there. third, is to go out and DO IT (no pun intended.)

classic case of Low IL. Easy to spot, once you know your stuff. You need to start reading the bible and this site alot more, that was a newbie mistake.

Well,
your at that age where it helps to know chiks for
1. The social proof
2. The COF (Circle of friends) What i mean by that, whenever you meet anyone young, girl or guy, your gonna meet alot of other people threw them(guy friends, possible other girls to hookup with)

2. You should drop any feelings whatsoever you have in her

Ok then, worst bit is that she did have a high IL a couple of months ago... but I didn't know what I wanted or what to do.

On the COF: 1 of her friends is hotter and nicer, no bad rep either.
