Damnit.

Is there any way I can file a plea before they extract stuff from me. I was charged with a Public Disorder Offence of £190 on June 18th. I sent a letter to them that same week, to plea for a weekly sum of £10, every week instead of the whole sum. They agreed. I've missed maybe, 2-3 weeks of non-payement due to bank issues and my credit card being misplaced, I now have my credit card again and this letter was forwarded to me today also.

There must be some way of notifying them about this? I have to book for a Holiday this October too, and really cannot offord to pay these pigs right now. The only possible thing they can take here, is my Xbox which, recently has the red ring of fire  , the games with it and probably some Lyle and Scott sweaters worth over £100.

What can i do?

what you can do is cancel your vacation and pay off the debts that you owe.

You opted for GBP 10 a month and still didn't make the payments which again was your fault.

come on, that's just 10 a week. If you have to borrow from your parents so you can pay the bill on time, then pay them back later. You have responsibilities and if you can't even take care of those, what makes you think you deserve a vacation.

Like I mentioned, my credit card was misplaced. The HMS warranted a individual card to me, for me to send the money into that account, cash in hand. My credit card had been misplaced and it has only arrived today (takes 2 weeks for a new one) Along with this letter from the HMS. They weren't going to get money for 2 weeks from me ANYHOW. Even if I wanted to pay them.

They're already paying tax bills. The PDO Fine is so trivial, I won't get into it. This is what they do here. Rob hard-working taxpayer's money. Theres no way I'm going to ask my parents for it.

You have responsibilities and if you can't even take care of those, what makes you think you deserve a vacation.
I deserve the holiday, because I've been working my butt off all year. For some pig to give me a fine over something retarded? I should give up my yearly holiday for it? Ha hah ah ahahaha ha ha.

Resisting Arrest, I wasn't though. The officer was just a sensitive rookie who got p!ssed off because i called him Betty Boop after he warned me for foul language, and the public was on my side. Even one of his seniors told him to not get annoyed, he's just winding you up. Next thing I know, I had cuffs around my wrists.

If you have reneged on a payment agreement with a court, you will have the devil's own job getting them off your back and their powers are generally of the highest order.

And if you have an agreement, it looks like your time to enter any sort of plea is long past.

However, you can ensure the bailiff is properly accredited and conducting themselves properly - Many bailiffs are very lax about keeping things up to date and don't give two-hoots for proper procedure. Any misconduct on their part may be adequate grounds to invalidate, suspend or renegotiate collection.

Lots of info here.

See that everything goes by the book from now on. For both of you.

And however minor you think it is, don't get lippy with a police officer - They will take pleasure in making your life difficult IME.

Take responsibility. That isn't much. If you have to sell your games do it. You should have sold your xbox and paid it off immediately.

Let me get this straight, you are afraid the government will *extract stuff* from you for failing to pay

You then go on to say that the only *stuff* you even have is an Xbox with suffers from needed repairs due to the "Red Ring of Fire*

This is golden. I've heard of people getting worked up over losing their homes to foreclosure, having their cars impounded, but having an XBox seized?

This is awesome, what's next, some other poster is going to come on here asking for advice on what to do when he stiffed the bank on a 10 Euro loan, and the bank is going to come repossess his computer that needs repairs from the *blue screen of death* because control + alt + delete just won't work

How come you did not notify them immediately during those 3 weeks of non-payment due to your *bank and credit card issues*?

I know I know, you were working night and day to solve the *red ring of fire* malfunction on your XBox.

I'm not afraid of that, infact they can take the XBox to an auction. It has the red ring of death and I rarely ever go on it these days. Thats not the problem, I'd rather have a plea or few more weeks before it has to get to that stage.

An XBox which is worth £115 and some other stuff. Thats over half of the money paid already. The issue here, is for it to not get to that point. Not sure why you made note of this, bored probably.

Yeah. I have no problem if it did. Its likely you misinterpretated my reference to the whole XBox thing. If it goes, it goes. I can always buy another one.

As of yet, there have been no posters wallowing about this

This is at my fault and i took it for granted. Especially, for ''WHAT'' the fine is all over. Yes, I should've contacted them about this issue. I guess it came back to bite me in the ass. Theres no excuses for me. So I'll give you this one.

I know I know, you were working night and day to solve the *red ring of fire* malfunction on your XBox.
Dude, I don't care about the XBox as if it were something I'd depend my life on. You got mixed up. The XBox is the first thng they can take, no skin off my nose. The issue from the start, is for it to NOT get to that point of anything being seized and confiscated.

Anyway. Like I said, I wanted to get a plea and I've been granted that till next week Friday. Its not a problem. Trader on one of his arguementative charades again. Haven't got time for it.

No you don't deserve it. You're immature and aren't taking responsibility for your actions.

I have a minor criminal record and did the responsible thing of foregoing vacations until my obligations were satisfied. Vacations are a luxury, not a right. Grow up.

First of all, WHO ARE YOU? Secondly, who are you to tell me I'm not morally bound to my annual holiday with family, that I've saved up for this whole year. Sacrificing other ventures for it? What, because I didn't pay some £190 fine weekly as THEY stated. So, why do I have another week to pay them? Empty threats, which is why I don't take it seriously. Sometimes other stuff come up, it happens. Even my grandma, who is heavily into all the being a 'Good Citizen' parade was ranting about how stupid it is. Get over it.

I have a minor criminal record and did the responsible thing of foregoing vacations until my obligations were satisfied. Vacations are a luxury, not a right. Grow up.
Well, I don't have a criminal record. Just a caution. So I'm not sure how much credit you had to fork out, but thats a cool story none the less. So, if somebody who has been working his butt off amongst others who aren;'t so readly, but he isn't being promoted by his boss, but he eventually makes a plea and is promoted, are you calling this a luxury and not a right?

Translation: Stop doing all those fun things like being wild, crazy, having fun, making mistakes and learning from them that you do in your life and be miserable like me.

What does it matter who am I. The principles of responsibilities of dealing with the consequences of your actions are universal. You were in the wrong for using profane language towards a law enforcement officer and for instigating passive aggressive resistance after being warned, and consequently as consequence you deserve its fallout. You try to mitigate the consequences your actions by conjuring a myriad of cognitively dissonant excuses, but ultimately your excuses are nothing but a smokescreen to abscond from your responsibilities. Your immaturity then and now shines prominently and self-evidently.

And yes, vacations are luxuries.

The OP needs to *own it.* He was the one that got charged with a public disorder offense, and that's how this whole charade started. Then he screws up again and does not pay on time, and the charade intensifies.

Guys always complain about how girls never *own up to their sins* unfortunately, it now appears that many guys are guilty of the same behavior.

To the OP: if you want to go on vacation, don't be a *screw-up* who gets his pocket change taken away through legal fines.

F*ck me. Rogue is a piggy.

I'm sure of it. What ever happend to your word against his? Name-calling isn't abusive, insulting or obscene. Swearing in public is viewed as profanity. Heck, I've seen people say "F*ck" 20 times infront of officers and haven't been arrested, but aslong as its targeted at them, you're going to get nabbed. Double-standards. Fake-Archangels, Lulz

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.
