Psychologist says that men 5'6" and shorter are "locked out of the dating app game"

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

It depends on the circumstances and location that short person has. Come to The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, a Province of Japan and Vietnam...and if you like light European complected women go to Brazil and get on Tinder and advertise that you're a happy and content American living an expatriate lifestyle and you'll be treated like a Rockstar I promise. Just show some attractive pics of yourself

Even in the United States, dating apps are only one channel. Men 5'6" and shorter have other options for meeting people.

I’m about 5’6” or so. Did great on Tinder.
This Doom and Gloom posting is getting old, it's really telling who posts a lot of these things, you can tell who is successful and who is not by posting patterns and the things they talk a lot the most

OP has been posting the same stuff for years, time for him to pack it up

That dudes not a "psychologist." He's never practiced as a counselor in any form.

Sure, he's got a PhD in something but he makes his living LARPing on YouTube with random red pill ideas that have nothing to do with psychology.

Like every other YouTuber, he makes videos based on what he thinks will get the most clicks.

And the majority of his viewers are black pillers desperate for any reason to stay safely on the sidelines of life.

I am 165 cm tall, and I can confirm what was said.

In the broader social landscape, the general social image, you are seen as a "small man." You don't fit the idealized version of a man, which, depending on the country (I'm in Italy), usually starts around 175 cm and above.

Socially speaking, you're often perceived more like a child, yes, that’s the reality.

Now, narrowing it down to a more personal level, your family, friends, acquaintances, and people in your city, they’ve likely had the chance to appreciate you for your other qualities. Some may still view you as a "child," but others will value you beyond just your height.

That said, yes, the original point stands.

Just remember one important thing, if you’re feeling depressed about women, know this, when someone truly wants you, your height won’t matter, they’ll want you for who you are.

However, one reality remains, in a large, random sample of men, the average woman won’t choose you. She'll choose someone else.

My advice? Find your niche, dear little man. You need to shine where you have the best chance, not in the general population.

It might sound like just coping, but unfortunately, it's the truth. Life is a competition, so compete where your odds are better.

So wear lifts in your sneakers. This gripe is the male equivalent of B cup gals who grouse endlessly over The Almighty not gracing then with a larger bosom, DESPITE the fact that

-Push-up bras have been on the market for decades

-Breast enlargement surgery is now a hell of a lot more affordable than it was even in The 2000s

If you're not down to work with what you have, you've always got lots of other options

I had a girl on a first date point out that I wasn't tall enough even though I was the same height I posted on my profile. I was quick to let her know that her t!ts looked a lot bigger in her pics than they did in real life. She quickly dropped her complaint and began kissing my azz after that. I never asked her out again.

Do you guys think guys like Tom Cruise, Al Pacino, Emilio Estevez with their same charisma and charm can get laid a lot in real life if they weren't famous? This got me thinking, depending on the location, I certainly think so. Just work on your personality and lifestyle man.

They’re all good looking. So they’d still do fine.
