Well for me, I'm 18 now, and I just lost it towards the end of my college freshman year. I had so many opportunities this year to lose it too... I just didn't. Don't quite know why. But my mentallity didn't change much.

A lot of virgin guys I know have no clue how to talk or act with girls. They're really horny too, so they act like "OMG SHEZ SO HAWT!" etc.

But for me, when I was a virgin, I played it cool and just acted like I wasn't. Girls ALWAYS thought when asking me, they always thought I wasn't a virgin. So I guess there is a small mentallity usually.

I was ok until i hang out with my friends and they started talking about sex.. i was like ok ok ok ok... you know no input... then they say..."you a virgin" im lke fvcked.. lol ... other that im an fairly good looking guy...( i don't know a five...)

I also have this *cough* skin disorder that give me random sizes of birth mark around my body... and this is the reason i didn't chase any girls that have show interest int the pass.. i don't know.. because im afraid they might be dissapointed.. or something...

Plus the older you are, with not a good foundation of girl behind you, it is hard to meet new girls..

I'm still a virgin (at 17, no big deal at all to me), but all my mates are well and truly experienced. So they always have a dig at me because of it. But I always come back with "Hey, at least I haven't ****ed (points at first guy) fat chicks, (points at second guy) sluts and (points at third guy)...well you're cool " You just have to accept the fact that you're aiming a lot higher than these guys, and it's a good thing that you've never settled for less just to be in with your friends.

On birthmarks: Dude, who cares? You should USE it, not hide it. Show them, make up some awesome story about how you were raised in Africa by a tribe of hunters who developed odd pigmentation to aid as camouflage. It's not a setback, it's something unique and interesting!

Listen to "everywomanshero" - Get rid off it. I didn't loose it to late - later than 22.

i wanted to wait until it was witht the right girl (Catholic upbringing).

However once it's done a few times you will:

1) Realise it's not that big a deal, you don't need to be in a relationship or in love.
2) Realise girls want to be ****ed as much as guys therefore taking them off the pedestial.

You will loose a certain amount of innocence but that's a good thing. Quite frankly it's a cliche but "you become a man".

Oh and for foomee, you would be surprised but MOST people can tell when someone is a virgin. I agree that they are REALLY horny but that's not just it. There is a certain innocence a virgin has that can't be faked or covered up - And it's completely invisible to virgins. In short, people will see you different and treat you different.
