Well, BigMan started a similar, unhelpful topic, and it really needs to be discussed.
During school I obviously can't cook eggs. I started bringing a jar of peanuts and a milk carton full of water every day, but I couldn't get in enough calories. So now I bring PB sandwiches. But I'd rather not be eating 8 slices of bread per day, it's semi-useless calories.
I like jerky, but it's too expensive. Yogurt may do. I've brought boiled eggs in the past, but damnit they are nasty.
Any schoolboys know what I'm talking about? How do you handle it. Just can't wait untill college where cafeteria is open 24/7
