I was browsing in the local GNC yesterday and got into a conversation with a guy there about the protein sups, he said he uses pro complex.. but after a while i learn that he doesnt work out hardly at all. Now would there be any plus to drinking a whey protein shake even if you only work out maybe 1-2 times a week?

Yes, there would be, especially if you worked out more often (hint, hint).

If you are active all the time, the best thing to do is eat 6-8 small meals a day plus having a protein shake with each meal. The key is to always have protein and a good amount of carbs in your body all the time in order to build muscle.

the problem is that i am still in the process of losing fat and i'm not really wanting carbs. i was about 230 as of july last year and now due to better eating and more working out im about 195-200ish. I'm just trying to get my bench up to around 225-250. right now i'm about 170 bench.
