Believe it or not, I have a leather backpack, usually when I plan on going out. I leave it in the car of course, but if I end up at someone's house for the night, I'll have some extra clothes, and toilettres with me. I also have condoms, lube, smokes, sometimes pot, and a bottle of Aquafina. :)

I know, I'm a freak, but when I go out, I'm prepared. :D I'm pretty lucky, as I've never gotten any STDs in my life.

This reminds me, I need to get an AIDS test. I did have a one night stand and did not use a condom. :(

It protects you some. Nothing protects you completely; in other words, to state nothing protects you completely goes without saying.

Condoms don't protect you completely from anything. But that's no reason not to use them.

ps there doesn't have to be a breakout either for it to be contageous.
ps yes it does. This is genital herpes 101.*

* I checked up on this to ensure I wasn't giving out false information. Apparently, more recent research has shown its possible to catch it from someone with herpes outside of visible break-out periods. Personally, I read this to say "there are no guarantees", which is mostly telling me something that I, and anyone else armed with common sense, already knows.

ya'll are really ignorant..all it takes is one chick, one time, who has it to catch HIV...she could seem innocent and as clean as a bottle of Pine spray...on top of that, she could have it and not even know it...it could take 6 mos AFTER unprotected sex for it to actually show up on a blood test...ask yourself..is it REALLY worth it?? once your HIV progresses to AIDS and your immune system is destroyed, you only live another 10-15 years...is any raw puzzy worth that??
You are the ignorant one, and i'm about to tell you why. If you are this afraid, then you should never have unprotected sex with anyone, even in a marriage or LTR.

If a woman says she's a virgin, and you believe her, you are by definition, (and not even open to opinion),... naive. This is because you could never know for sure if she's telling you the truth or not. The one exception would be if she could actually show you an in-tact hymen.

Life is taking risks, but you have to ask yourself, is the risk worth it?

I've had ONS's without protection twice in my life. Just twice. The first time I was more worried about ending up with a kid, got "lucky" and didn't. The second time I was worried about STDs. In both cases, the sex was NOT worth the worry...not even close.

Yes, condoms suck, I agree, but IMO, protect 'your boys' so you don't spend months with this nagging feeling of "I sure hope I didn't f*ck up my life."

My two cents.

yeah, because you know, someone with HIV is gonna walk around with a sign saying they have it...the social stigma behind carrying such a disease is and forever will be frowned upon

You probably have a better chance of someone breaking in your bedroom and shooting you in the back of the head while your banging a chick than to contract AIDS from heterosexual sex.
This is so true. You could probably spend your entire life banging chicks bareback and your more likely to get caught banging an attached chick who said she was single.

People look at the stats, the chances of even getting AIDS from a women who has AIDS are slim. Now the chances of actually sleeping with a heterosexual women with AIDS is less than 0.00025%. That means you'd have to sleep with 4000 women before you came across one that had AIDS. (Thats using the CDC referenced numbers on page 1 of this thread - which also state that minorities have a much higher rate of infection, so if your sleeping with caucasions, your risk factor is even lower)

I'll take those odds any day. Now I'm now saying I never use condoms, I'm smart about it and if I'm with a high risk women, I always use condoms.

You missed some of my response in your cut-and-paste attempt. You were actually 1 for 2.

You stated condoms do not protect you from genital herpes. This statment of yours is incorrect. Sorry if i was unclear earlier.

If you were really trying to say they don't provide total, complete protection, that goes without saying. They don't totally prevent pregnancy either. Tell us something we don't know.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

Now the chances of actually sleeping with a heterosexual women with AIDS is less than 0.00025%.

And most of those hiv+ women would be avoided by avoiding the gangbang hos and ghetto tramps.

Condoms protect about 50% against herpes. That is technically some protection, but it's still pathetic. By comparison, I never used a condom with my ex-wife who had herpes, had sex I'm sure over a hundred times, and yet never got anything, because she was good at telling when the outbreaks were about to arrive, and then we'd not have sex during that time. The herpes virus is very easy to transmit when there is an active sore, condom or not, and very difficult to transmit when there is no sore. However, both scenarios are still possible. When dealing with a virus, it is hard to rule anything out completely.

No condom, no sex.

This simple rule has kept me child and disease free for many years.

I agree that this is the best and safest policy. However I went the first few years of my sex life without condoms and now I choose to live a lifestyle where I minimize my risks but maximize stimuli.

I've been trying to pound this into guys heads for years now.

It's the same "If I didn't see it it didn't happen" mentality that leads men to label women according to their behavior that they actually OWN UP TO, completely disregarding the fact that women have great incentive to LIE about such matters.

Obviously you can reduce your risk of "problems" by avoiding women who practice blatantly risky behavior, but too many men underestimate that "perfect little flower" that's lying in bed next to them.

The stats on lifetime STDs like herpes are pretty solid; like it or not. If one routinely has unprotected sex with many different women, there definitely is a real, viable chance that your luck will run out. Someone remind me, is it like 1 in 5 (or even more) who have herpes? Yes, they have to be "breaking out" at the time, but are you going to notice?

Maybe another reminder from penkitten is warranted.

And this very point is the reason I don't get too jealous by those with 50+ women. They either 1. had protected sex (and, to me, sex with condoms sucks) 2. have herpes (or worse) or 3. are very lucky. Ive never been a real lucky person so #3 isn't an option for me.

I have slept with over 3x that number, no joke, i dont need to impress guys on an internet forum.

I can state about 50% where protected the other not so, either:

Condom splitting, no condom about, wrong type of condom and it was ripped off by either me or the girl i was fuc*ing, so the amount of unprotected sex i would say would be around 75% (when i add up all the other times it split e.t.c) of all the girls i have layed.

But, i always use a condom, always, but then again there are times when i am drunk or so horney and the girl just wants sex!

I have never catched anything thus far, granted i may still catch something, but considering i have scored well over the 100+ and then some, those odds are pritty good.

Also i have mates who have laid 200/300+ (no joke) and have never caught anything but thrush.

Oh and i dont have any kids either, not hard to pull out and come all over her as8, tits, bed sheets, e.t.c.

Granted some girls are super fertile, but then again i normally get this information from AFC who, statisticly have only had sex with 4 girls there whole life.

Well this guy is telling you, its not has bad as people make out, but then again i am not stating it could happen, i am just saying the true statistics are not as doomsayer has people make out and imo is simply bile spewed by afc's, or people who have fuc*ed about 4-6women.

Some guys have sex once and catch wierd ****, i suppose its down to how you pick em, in the end.

Durex featherlite condoms are the bizz btw, sex is very enjoyable with those sleaves on :D

You can pass up some great experiances with too much negative nonsense imo, the truth is has some one already said:

You have more chance of being in a car wreck and most other diseases are treat-able, if there not i doubt the person with it will be activly spreading it about, people normally are not like that, doomsayer stuff most of this, but everyone should be careful, thats a no brainer.

No. Around here a lot of females with religious background (especially Muslim), usually go around and fvck every guy that is out there. And when the time for marriage comes, they undergo a quick surgery where the hymen is reattached (or something like that).

Basically, you can NEVER be sure that a female is 100% virgin.

Edit. Found this link : http://www.goaskalice.columbia.edu/2272.html

Through a surgical procedure called hymenorraphy, health care providers recreate the hymen by piecing together its remnants. Surgery can also include inserting a gelatin capsule filled with a blood-like substance that will burst during intercourse, simulating bleeding. If there is not enough hymen left, or if the woman was born without one, part of the vaginal wall is used to recreate this thin tissue. The procedure, considered relatively simple, is performed on an outpatient basis. In some countries, women will be seen several weeks after the procedure to follow up on any resulting physical effects and emotional issues.
