I know what they are supposed to do in principle. However, if my own issue is I can't visit prostitutes because of what you believe is an imaginary bogey-man (i..e but quite real to me and the only protection I have is not to visit them) then that's an acceptable impairment with me if everything else checks out okay. I can live without that, or collectively "them".
You can't pharma your way to pay a woman to have sex with you if it's not in you to be that type of guy. You would expect other guys who have strong reservations against seeing a hooker to visit their doctor, ask your doctor to prescribe medication so your brain is numbed down enough to a point you don't care about seeing a hooker, and all of a sudden they are going to feel good about that, like a Benzo-influenced hooker visit?
No good doctor would go along with such a request and they would lose their license and violate their oath. That is mad science. Imagine this "Hey, doc, could you perscribe me some Benzo drugs so I won't feel freaked out about visiting a hooker or worried about what might happen afterwards?" who would actually honour that request knowing it's illegal to buy sex? You realize the suggestion of meds sounds more crazy than the issue I'm talking about.
In test studies, people who were not suicidal or were prescribed anti-depressants for insomnia ended up killing themselves. It was on youtube documentary. That doc scared me out of that.
