A friend of mine uses myspace to get chicks. He laid 12 in last 8 months, but all of them are sluts, who are having 10 other conversations with guys online. Then my friend wonders why he seeks approval of others and why he can't find a decent girl.

I'd veer on the more accurate description that "certain myspace/net chicks are easy"... and you just happened to find one. Of course, she fell for you like a brick from 5 stories, but, in the context of pick up... you didn't really have to try hard or apply too many skills to get her. Again, interesting read, just not enough 'meat' to be a satisfying course.

This is sort of like having LeBron James do a standard one-handed dunk over a 5 footed 12 year old. Yes, it might be interesting, but 1)it happens all the time, nothing new 2) it didn't really take much effort on his part, so there really wasn't any showcasing... 3) the 12 year old might as well've been handcuffed.

I used to go to the mall almost everyday to pick up some phone numbers and emails (now I don't...I have a gf now!), but I didn't start that way. Some of you say that it's best to go outside in the real world and use your ****y and funny lines...true, but I still don't reject a chit-chat on msn or AIM.

That is how I started actually. I wasn't too confident at the beginning so I started to practice the right "mind thinking" for ****y responses, and on the comp it gives me more time...and that is actually practice. So I don't think it is a bad idea talking to chicks on the net. Things change though if the certain girl you are talking to knows you in real life...I don't recommend speaking to her too often.
