Prom trouble with girl

There's a sophmore who I want to take to prom, but I don't really know her...met her at a party. She invited me to her sweet 16, so I went. Called her the next day to chill, she said yah..called her later that day, but she didn't pickup or call me back.

Should I call her up tomorrow to chill tues night? And how should I go about building attraction. I've never dated someone younger than me...how is it different? I'm playful by nature and joke around a lot.

I plan on asking her to prom the night we hangout...I want to make sure she says yes, any tips. I know she has some interest in me without really knowing me, I just need to find a way to setup a date soon.

I have a problem now...I called her saturday after calling her earlier in the day, and the second time I called it rang 3 times then went to voicemail...I didn't leave a msg and she didn't call back. I called again last night around 8 and the same thing happened...3 rings and voicemail. So I decided to text msg her "hey", but she didn't reply. I don't see any reason why she would ignore me, so it could it be that something is wrong with her cell phone? Should I try to call w/ my caller id blocked? I have her AIM sn, but she's rarely on and I need to setup a date for tonight. Should I send her a message on myspace, or would that seem desperate?

prom isn't even a big deal man. just go alone like i am and just have a blast. it's all about you. not some girl. i'm actually planning on picking up this hot girl who's going alone with friends
