What do you mean it wont work? How do you measure what works what doesn't.
Failure is measured by not achieving our objectives. What we need to do is just set some objectives, and then do what we have to do to make them.
Harwood Heights is a good place, or the area around it. Plenty of public places, one of the northwest side's most popular malls and shopping areas is a 10 minute WALK away, there are several bars in and around Harwood Heights (one of which I know the owner of) and great access to everything. There is also lots of jobs available in the area.
Going back to what works what doesn't, its all a matter of what you want to accomplish. My goals for moving out in general are attaining freedom, and my secondary goal is to make some money so I can continue to live free, third I would like to learn some new things and do some self-improvement.
As a Management major I have taken all kinds of business classes already and I have been into this stuff for years (I used to read Economics text books for fun). I think It'd be cool to start up a business about this stuff, and I think it could be a pretty successful business in that it can finance living together in a house and give us a great learning experience.
If we were to do this, my goal would be to be able to look back at it 5 years later and say "yeah, thats what helped me get to the next level not only with women but in life, its what helped me set a more solid foundation and I am a better person for having gone through this". That's my goal. That's the criteria on which I would judge if this "works".
just open a business, find business friends, find sarging friends, improve yourself, etc.. you are putting way too much weight on having people in your equation - build your own perfect life, without dependence on others....
and if you want someone to go pick up chicks with, give me a holler.
and enough with HHs already..
