so i just started senior year of HS, i'm 17, have hooked up only once really drunk (dont even remember it) so i decided that i seriously need to get on top of **** asap.

so theres this one girl in my class that i really really want, but i dont know what she thinks of me.

she has been texting me quite a bit, and out of my group of friends (its a small school) i seem to be the one she prefers. but i dont know what to do with her, since my friends are always asking me to hang out and i just want to hang out with her alone.

like today, i went to hang out with her and this new guy (that hangs with my group of friends) tagged along, and he really talked way too much to the point where i just ignored everything he said. he was flirting quite a bit too, and she was responding to some of it; and i wasnt even talking much.

then she sends me a text "sorry for being annoying"

i really dont know what to think. also when we talk its usually her who approaches me; and ive been really passive when talking with her. i guess i just dont know what to say. but yes this is really becoming a brain**** and i want her really really bad so could you guys please help me out?

also, since it seems to matter: she is really popular (in and out of school). and i am pretty popular too (but i really mostly hang with guys). i want to be able to spend some time 1-1 with her but its hard when my friends always want to hang out

You're not getting any from her right now. Worst case scenario you'll never get any from her. If you don't man up and make a MOVE, you're basically putting yourself in the worst possible scenario.

Now I'm going to be real with you bro. You are most likely NOT going to get with this chick. Reason being because you're just LEARNING the game. While learning the game, you WILL crash and burn SEVERAL times, but that's what learning is; making mistakes. Because you're LEARNING the game midway into your relationship with her, she may already associate you as a friend, due to your Average Frustrated Chump ways. You need to get over your love of her and realize that you PROBABLY wont get with her. There ARE other chicks, BETTER chicks.

That being said, if all you're after is this one chick, it's probably better if you leave NOW. If however, you're looking to better the ENTIRETY of your life, and score LOADS of women, then stay. There are bountiful amounts of articles here that will help you, if you are committed.
