Problems Looking Too Young?

Anyone ever find they had a problem looking too young or think it's a problem. I've just gotten the feeling / impression sometimes it's held me back or people may not respect me as much as others becasue I look younger.

I'm 23 but look like 17/18 I would say. This might work well with some girls but I can't help but feel I would pull a lot more interest if I looked my age (from girls my age). Can't grow too much facial hair just a mustache, who the hell wants that, and a beatnick (the bottom chin part).

I am finally starting to get some lower burns in and random facial hair on my cheeks. Have always been a late bloomer but this is ridiculous.

I don't think it's a HUGE issue and I know people say in the long run I'd like it more, just looking to see if anyone else is like this at all. Kind of a stupid topic but w/e

Shave every single day and it'll grow in thicker and faster. It might take a year, but eventually you'll get it.

Longer hair on your head can make you look younger too i.e. if you've got a bowl cut or flowing locks.

never complain u look too young....tis a blessing my friend....i'm 23 and i dont look 23 at all!!! lol lately i've been getting older because of weight....weight will make u appear older than u actually are also....but yea if u look young thats good..its all in the mind...and grow out the chin hair its an automatic 20 if u have a nice one.....aka Beatnik

Let me tell you something. It matters a ton. Women in general do NOT want their man to look younger than them.

I look young for my age. I know this because everytime I go to a 21 n up club, I get told this exact thing by women. They literally tell me when I approach them. I have the balls to approach all night, but it doesn't matter if a 25-35 year old girl feels she's out of my league.

My thing is, we may as well stick to 18+ clubs and hit on girls who may even still be in high school. Women associate young/baby faces with inexperience. THEY DON'T LIKE IT.

I am certain of this. I've had girls tell me this my whole life. In high school, the only girls that were attracted to me were the ones in 7th and 8th grade!! I've ALWAYS have had problems attracting girls my age and older.

Ah now this raises an interesting point which I'm experiencing personally as a much older man now.

I probably look at least 10 years younger than I am, and now I'm older, I'm realising that a lot of the women my age look a lot older than me, and it kind of seems weird. I ought to be shooting for women about 12 years younger than me so it looks about right. So they'd be around they're late twenties.

That's fine by me! Any legitimate excuse for the younger woman is ok in my book.

I wrestled with this problem all my life. Not only do I look younger than I really am but I also have a pretty boy face.

Sure my looks could help me if I was in high school with girls that still like Justin Bieber! But as you get older and women look for the bad boy type you have to do some changes.

Deadly ripped made a good comment. You should definitely try that. Any facial hair is better than non at all.

If you look like a baby face you should not be walking around clean shaven like a baby! Get some facial hair on your face, grow a beard.

Growing a beard (the bad attempt at a beard I have) has given me the extra edge I needed to offset my nice guy looks.

Also try dressing more mature. Drop the colorful stuff that makes you look like a high schooler and start dressing like a man. Buy some adult clothing. I'm talking about a nice pair of shoes, nice pants, solid dress shirts rather than the usual big baggy colorful stuff.

Yeah that's always a good one. Even if it's one day's worth of growth. Just not clean shaven.

I used to shave every day when I worked in an office, but men needing to keep clean shaven all the time through choice has always struck me as rather a strange practise (no offence to any clean shaven people on here).

I too don't have the best beard in the world, but it doesn't matter if it's only a day or a few day's worth of growth.

Don't try and look older.

I think maybe in a lot of cases it's not so much trying to look older, as trying to look less clean-cut when you feel you're outward appearance is not reflecting your character properly (e.g. when you get older).

Don't try and look older. Work on getting clothes that fit your style and be comfortable in your own skin with who you are.

It's not about "looking older" but rather looking like you know what you're doing, showing you got some sophistication and that you've grown up a bit.

My case for example. I wanted to move from wearing a sweater with jeans everyday. I got a nice pair of black shoes that I could wear not just in the office but with jeans as well. Combine that with a nice pair of jeans plus a leather jacket and I finally had an edge that would offset my natural "nice guy, young looking" looks.

Nobody is telling him to wear a 3 piece suit. Also don't make it sound as if older is somehow bad. You have to evolve with the times and not be held back looking like a skater when you're trying to look like a man to offset your young guy looks.

ahaha so funny cause that´s my story! I´m not lying but when i entered high school, literally every girl was making eye contact on me, I had one that even said I was the best good looking guy there (and it was a huge high school).

Then puberty hit me, got super skinny, acne, frizzy hair, and bye bye women, it almost seems a punishment for treating girls so badly at that time.

Any way I´m 24 in college, and every year the freshman look older than me. I think that the problem will correct itself, and if you notice that guys that are more considered best good looking havid kids face, you shouldn´t have a problem.

Now I still don´t have facial hair in cheeks, only a moustache and beard,( I didn´t shave the cheeks when I had acne for not scarring), wich makes me look like d´artagnan. But this really worse than being ugly (although it´s just temporary), cause women would rather go for a guy that is ugly but looks like a man, that one that looks like a child. I have to pull always 5 years younger girls, and even for them I don´t look any older, so it´s not super easy like it would be if i looked older.

For guys that are aging too quickly, I would recommend, cut on drinks, bad food, over masturbation etc...

I think your onto something with the attire. I really need to grow up in that department. I used to be a skater guy all the way through highschool and still have the colorful "cool" shirts you were describing.

I also have the baby face look and I'm sure that's why all the women I pull are generally younger, at least 20 and I"m 23. I do have the beatnik going on but even with that I know I don't look that mature.
