I have never used condoms and am yet to knock anyone up, never really payed much attention other than trusting girlfriends to be on birth control. I don't advocate my method, but there is something to be said for being in a ltr with someone you trust. If a girl is going to deceive me and get away with it, that is in part a failing of my own. I should have been smarter or more intuitive.
Some women think of pregnancy as a sexual fetish. It literally makes them horny. Like any fetish, it does not make sense, but also it is not something they choose, not any different than if they got off on feet or something else weird.
This thread is not very positive towards the female gender...although nothing said was really untrue. It is a matter of perspective. Plenty of men are giant douche bags toward women, too, but I don't want new girls I meet holding that against me. No guy does. But I won't ask for what I can't offer in return. I try to love all women, but at the same time be a quick and decisive judge of character, so that I can simply avoid the ones who will treat me poorly.
