Well my missus of 3 years broke up w/ me so i'm back.

One thing i've noticed though is all these hotshot new guys who "have all the answers" but don't feel like sharing anything. It's always "go read the bible" ... kinda defeats the purpose of a "discussion forum". Ah for the good ol' days.
Lol and how could I forget you Wyldfire... yo're the only girl here... and you're still putting up with us .

Feel free to add me to msn people and I can regale you with the crazy stories i've had over the past 3 years.

It was in it's infancy I'd say. They were more per-forum things, but yes it existed. Not nearly as detailed as it is now.

Wow! No kidding eh?
Remember what it used to look like before that? They changed it to the "beige" look a month after I joined.
I think before that it was black & white.

I still think it looks a TON better back then... the memories.

Yeah, it was black and white I think...

I liked it better back then, too. It wasn't the look so much as the sense of genuine comraderie that existed. There wasn't so much hating and most of the arguing were over ideas and disagreeing with posts instead of the personal insults and attacks and nonsense going on now. It's kinda sad...

... OMG that's gold. I have a pdf version of that. That was the second generation bible. Lorenzo and I put together the first one and then it took off from there. I'm surprised it's still lurking around. I'm sure that version is one of the best (better than todays as well) because it's not corrupted by "know it all'ism" . Wyld was right - no sense of community here anymore.

I'm finally seeing people I recognize and that i'm "at home" again .. back when there were only 30 or so regualrs.
