I just don't see how its that much different than white dudes...or asian dudes or hispanic dudes...

Unless you are saying that you have a much smaller pool of like minded people to choose to be friends with. Personally since I have very few friends(lifelong friends whom I am very close with and consider like brothers) and many acquaintances who I will hang out with here and there, I'd say there isn't much difference unless you are saying its different because I'm white which I don't necessarily agree with.

I had to share this article, just read it. This article explains a lot of what I've detailed on this board over the last 3 years, of my personal challenges, issues, and experiences being a "successful" black man and how many times.......you are very LONELY as a result.

Just read it, very powerful piece.

They live in the richest country on Earth yet still act like they're oppressed as they mooch off the government.

Minimum wage in Mexico is $5/day USD. How would they like it there?

How come black people can't talk about anything other than that they're black.

It's pretty annoying.
How come you can't talk about anything other than your robot penis, blow and hookers.

It's really annoying.

Why is your initial instinct to outright deny anything a black person says? I’m not trying to be an @$$, but I just want to know. I have a theory that involves our human brains.

Also @Tenacity, ever since I got my new job, nice car, and moved to a well known affluent part of my city, part of my family have began to be extremely passive aggressive towards me. For example, my uncle told me that I’m heading towards a wrong path and ranted on me on how I should quit my job and become an artist. My grandma told my dad she didn’t want me over for thanksgiving and I remember her telling me that I just need to live in her small town and work at Mcdonalds with a COLLEGE DEGREE.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

It's not. My opinions come from growing up in an all black neighborhood and being a part of it all...mostly black friends growing up, spent lots of time over at various houses, understand a lot of the mindset, etc.

I feel more comfortable hanging out with black people than I do with white people even today...

I speak from experience in a way 95% of white people can't.
