Trying to shed some of the more debilitating AFC behaviours over my last weeks in Indonesia was great--it was obvious that once I started to read the threads that a few changes needed to be made. Thanks for the DJs who got me started in the right direction. Unfortunately I spent most of my time in that great country doing AFC crap and regreted it.

Back home for a couple of days now and being sent out to the Pacific now--Solomons and Vanuatu. Got a question for a master DJ as AFC affects yer professional life too--might have to be a private message though. New assignment be very different and no place for an AFC either--nowhere is really, cos you're not being true to yourself--had that sorted for a long time. Used to think I was 'missing out' if didn't have a girl around--just enjoying doing my own thing a lot more now. Got a lot of work to do yet though.

How do..?

Hi all. I've been a bit quiet lately cos I got sent out to somewhere in the South Pacific for at least the next few months so I've had to concentrate on work for a spell. Doesn't mean though that I haven't been trying to apply what I'm learning here practically everyday if not actually following the boot camp.
As I couldn't bare the AFC 'lifestyle' much longer--even if I have other parts of life sorted so am continuing on the quest! One thing I have noted is that if you are AFC vis a vis women, it follows that you act that way with work and business a lot too, so that's another reason to try to get a handle on things. Have been seriously taken advantage of business wise and can say that being a AFC was a reason. So while I say I have other things sorted out but after a pretty sucessful time as a younger bloke (even LTR with a 9) but turned to ruin (yeah a shocking case of oneitis) I sort of fell into some bad habits...
I don't mind saying that I have squandered a fair amount of cash/time in the *recent* past on 'renters' (pros and sluts). But its really not my scene and need to get into some social circles where interest is genuine and something a little more meaningful might come about. Anybody else been through these phases? Any insights? Cheers, P
