It's funny. This week I've reading a book of poetry by Irishman W.B. Yeats. Part of his life involves an unrequited love affair with a revolutionary activist babe called Maude Gonne. She ended up marrying someone else (another revolutionary who was also a soldier), but even after that ended two years later, she still refused to marry the poet, who was also a Nobel Prize laureat. Reading his poems and the biographical details, I realised that the poor chump was an AFC!!!! So the lesson is that she went for the man and ignored the simpering arty bloke. Muwahaha.
