As i sit here eating my once-frozen microwavable pot pie and drinking my warm acme-bought root beer, I wonder if any of you actually have your own identity.

Most of you have no "identity" and so you try to attach yourself to anything you do that you believe is a popularly respected thing. An example of this, i have about a million friends who wear billabong, quicksilver, ripcurl, o'neil, and lost shirts. And most will say they surf or theyre going to go in competition and etcetera. But the truth of the matter is i would rip any of them and im not even that good. I dont tell ppl i surf, i dont bring it up, unless there is a logical reason to.

A more common phenomenon of this is the "skater" image. Youve all seen the kooks walking around with their skateboards who can barely do an ollie.

Everybody trys to fit themself into a mold it seems like. If youre not a skate youre a prep, if youre not either your a goth, if neither youre a nerd(and some are proud of it), or a punk, or a stoner, or a thug, or whatever the **** you dumbasses call yourselves. I speak in this manner because most of you do the exact same thing as ppl who have not found this site. Even in college now i see the same trends. A sad sight indeed.

I blame this not only on weak minds, but also a lack of hobbies. If you have no hobbies, or you only know how to do one thing(even barely know). You will most likely identify yourself with that thing, whatever it may be, and project that identity to others through clothes and speech.


So basically, if youre a poser(and you most likely are), get a life and you wont want to pose anymore.

Going to heavy metal concerts (most of them I go alone, because none of my p*ssy friends come along, there's always an excuse)
Being very very ****y and funny (it's natural to me, I'm the kind of guy that is a f*cking prick, mocks everyone at table then when they're all laughing I get the f*ck out, just for kicks)
I love soccer jerseys... have 3 of my soccer team, one of brazilian selection, and one from Manchester United...
I know the best spots to eat and drink in my town, places that have little specialties most people are not aware... kind like the little joint at the corner that has the best hamburger in the whole world... I like to search around for these neat places...

and finally,
Moderating the forum when necessary, and writing inspirational posts when my muse comes to visit me...

The lack of hobbies is really a pain in the ass for me. I simply have too much free time and I spend it at home doing nothing. I should really get some hobbies like dancing and stuff like that.

Hobbies? Guys, hobbies are good, but things that truly shape you are your passions and experiences.


How many of you actually have a passion? think hard and name one..or two, if you are lucky.



Me? I am in love with basketball. That is my true passion. I play basketball around 20 hours a week, i play ball on xbox as well, and i watch it on tv.. i love this game.

Sports in general are very appealing to me. Soccer back in Russia untill i was 15 (BBB i got 3 manchester Untd. jerseys, 2 of which im about to toss away cause they are getting small.. i got French intl team as well..kick ass jersey). I played tennis/bball in HS, i also swam for 2 years.. if you really want to try tough sports to see if you have the guts, try swimming and wrestling..football comes close..then hockey.


Dancing. rap/rock/jazz/blues/disco/techno. Everything. Music has always been a huge part of me..dancing comes naturally.


Computers? hah... that isnt even a hobbie i'd be showing off to people, but i am proud of the fact that i can fix the problems when they occur, helping my friends and family out.
(oh, dont forget free music and porn )

I'm in the comedy troupe at my school, honing my skillls so one day i can be sharp and witty and get a radio show or be on SNL.

Going out and having a good time, i'm really flexible... i like to experiment with everything, can kinda play bass guitar, i can kinda play hockey. I'd rather know a little about a lot than a lot about a little, i really don't care what i do as long as i have a good time with the people around me.
