Porn and your game

This gets talked about every so often, whether porn helps or hurts your game. Usually you hear people say that it hurts it because it releases "sexual energy" instead of motivating you to get on the field.

I'm not sure that there is such thing as "sexual energy", but here's an observation that has a little more basis.

When I was a full AFC, pretty much, sub-AFC, instead of a recovering AFC, at first I was at a zero-porn state. I didn't look at it except when I was "weak", because it was against my religious beliefs.

Later, I got rid of the religion so even though I intellectually thought that porn could be okay, I wasn't sure, and was pretty embarrased to get it.

Eventually my curiosity got me and I tried it. This got me more motivated toward being able to pick up women for real. I fully realized that the interactions were not realistic, but at the same time, it helped me get over the AFC belief that women dislike sex and only give it begrudgingly.

Once I started getting some success with real women, I found the porn to be a hindrance because it's sort of artificial as far as dealing with women is concerned. A lot more is involved than, "Hi I'm MackJr. Hi, my name's Candy. Okay mack, I'm going to **** your ****."

So my answer is that Porn isn't bad or good, it depends on where you are. I think now my time is better spent on working on my game or dealing with girlfriends than on porn, but it's an acceptable standby not as a subsitute, but as an aside.

Porn is fine as long as one realizes that that's not what real sex is like.

Just like that metaphor. About 2 "people" going towards the sun... one went directly towards the sun.. and burnt. And the other one drowned on the sea and it's pleasures.

It personally helped me to look HBs as normal. They didn't impress me anymore. I've seen a woman just like her getting a facial. And many more. Women were now mortal for me.

I can't stand professional porn. Seriously, I hate it with the fire of a thousand supernovae. Glossy, overlit, badly-faked, expertly-posed bull$#!+. I'd rather go read.

I'll tell you what I like, though. Nonnude sites and real, moderated amateur sites. Not the BS "teen model" sites or the "paid her $400 but she's still an 'amateur' " sites, but the collections of candids -- even nonnude candids -- that some sick fvcks sein off the 'net, and the home video stuff that you know has the people videoed crapping their pants in a panic, screaming, "Oh, F__K!! How did THAT get on there!!"

Anyone remember the video making the rounds some years ago, the TV camera catching the girl and guy at the ballgame? That's my speed.

What's cool about these is that you'll see girls acting in ways that you NEVER see them act. And you can see it in their faces, too.

Follow me on this.

Enough cruising of these sites and newsgroups, and you'll realize that girls are just as sexual as we are. EVERY girl has an inner porn star. Some externalize it, but most -- 99%, IME -- don't.

I'll cruise these sites sometimes just to get myself amped before going out -- when I hit the clubs I'll have the mindset that there's a rampaging c@ck-hungry slvt inside every one of those girls, and it's my challenge to lure it out.

Porn should be exclusively reserved for married men, they're the ones who need it. Now get out there and sarge. There's no reason a guy with even a marginal game should be snapping the raddish to porn in preference to actually hooking up. It shoudn't even be an option and that's got nothing to do with 'sexual energy'.

Testosterone build up does affect your mentality, it's no secret that it inspires sexual desire, aggressiveness, drives muscle growth and is a trigger in releaseing pheremones that females do indeed register, but unless you're doing the old knuckle shuffle 3-4 times a day, it's doubtful that your testosterone levels will really be all that impacted. Even 55 year old men still produce 50 times the amount of testosterone that women in their 20's do.

I will admit one benefit about porn for guys - it helps humanize women for guys. That may sound counterintuitive, but read me out here. The popular misconception is that porno dehumanizes or degrades women, and while in certain instances this is true, it also serve to show guys that the untouchable girl who he thinks is so pristine is still a sexual being in some sense. Nothing is more encouraging than to see the sheer quantity of women willing to do porn - even in an amatuer venue. 50-60 year old women are readilly willing to do porn, not that this is all that appealing, but it serves to illustrate that people like sex. When a guy sees different women every day who are willing to show their sexuality, whether pro or amateur, it proves that by playing the odds he's bound to run into more than one at some point.
