How do you get to be popular in High School?
I understand that popularity gets you a better game since most of the high school girls, specially the hot ones love popularity, and many of them will only stay with you if you are popular. So if some of the older ones (specially those of you that are popular) can give me an advice I'll sure appreciate it.

Asking "How do I be popular" is like asking "How do I fly a plane." There's a hellofa lot of instructions out there how to do it (i.e. the Bibles and previous posts), but you're going to have to do some work and hands-on experimenting to get the feel for it.

Well, if you're 17 and not popular in school already, it probably won't happen overnight. Just get to know everybody personally and don't hate on anyone. Just stay cool with EVERYBODY. And I mean everybody. People have friends and typically when you hate on one person, someone else that you know is friends with them and it just causes a mess.

If you saw the movie Van Wilder, then that's an okay role model. He was friends with everybody and everybody liked him.

High school is a *****, it's impossible for everyone to like you unless you're the sports star or are the most fun, which involves being involved in many clubs and have lots of people see how active you are. These people usually have lots of school spirit. The easiest way to be well known is participate in every sport you possibly can. If you're smart and athletic people will envy and respect you.

Driving a corvette or pimp car helps, but it doesn't make a dork a prom king. A guy in my school had a corvette and just chilled by it all the time- it make him look like a dooshbag.

The best way is to go through the DJ boot camp even though you are only in high school- it might take twice as long for each exercise if you don't have a car but you need it. Be warned: If it helps you, don't fukc every girl that is willing. A DJ has style, charisma, and people respect and even fear him.

The other two ways is to party your a*s off which is the best way to make friends in high school, or become a bully which is a little better than being the class dork.

Well if you want to be popular, you must make yourself the center of attention.

One thing you can do is read The 48 laws of power by Robert Greene. He teaches you how to become a more powerful person and this will lead to popularity.

everyone asks this, it was one of my first questions and why i came to this site, why do the popular kids get the fit girls and then why do the fit girls make them more popular. I kinda know why, but not how to break into that circle in a magic pill now. However, i did not post it and used the search function as so many people have tried to answer it, however, there is no easy way to it. The most important guideline is first be who you want to be as that is the only thing that will ever make you happy, the second is be a social butterfly.

what ive found is that u dont have to be accepted by the group. if u can become friends with the coolest mofo u know then u'll end up having a lot of friends. the coolest person u know wont always be the most popular, thuogh a lot of times they will be. if u dont know who the coolest person that u know is, then heres the criteria that they have to me for me to consider them cool.

1. he's gotta be fun to hang around with
2. he's not two faced
3. people like him
4. he gets a reasonable amount of girls

i ordered those in order of importance. 1-3 have to be met for he person to be really cool. if u dont meet the criteria for rules 1 and 2 though then forget what i just said and work on that. im pretty sure i got all the things someone needs to be mad cool on this post, if i missed anything let me know.

dont rely on other peoples popularity to make u feel popular, that will only do so much. you need to develop your own puopularity status, wether it be through sports or what not. the easiest way is to just be yourself and talk to everyone and i mean everyone, doesnt matter if theyre a nerd or not the more ppl u know the more ppl know you, and then theyre friends will know you. just be yourself and itll happen.

my way I became popular is getting off my ass. Joining a team sport, for me baseball, and talking to all the popular kids. Then hanging out with the popular kids. Girls notice and that will automatically make you popular. Then work on all the other stuff. The only reason I am posting this is because I have never posted on how to become popular and I did mine the semi-right/semi-wrong way. You just have to be true to yourself
